I wouldn't say any remotely good looking woman with an interest in games is nerdbait, I'd say any remotely good looking woman in the public eye has an interest in games and game culture is nerdbait. After all, many nerds want a nerd partner and as such are drawn to her. Good looking women not in the public eye tend not to display so overly how much of a nerd they are until you get to know them, which is why lots percieve them not to exist when a lot of nerdy people just don't socialise at all.WizenSlinky0 wrote...

Oh please, she's practically no different. The only people that know of her are nerds, whom practically just obsess over her, thus she's equally nerdbait.killnoob wrote...
now this is the true geek girl, much better than the fake journalist we have in the ME3 game
Regardless, she is more genuine in her interests. You can tell by how she created The Guild which whole popular had a limited ability to pull in revenue. She did it out of love of the culture.
But if any remotely good looking woman with an interest in games and game culture is "nerdbait"...meh.
I don't agree with the "cult following" mentality regardless. But I like the stuff she produces and it's partly because it feels like she has genuine passion for what she does.
That said, sure some people 'follow' her because they have an interest in what she has to say but it's pretty much undoubted that some also 'follow' her because she's somewhat of a fantasy to a typical nerd whom sees attractive women as somewhat alien.

Hah, sorry for the brain ache, I don't mind her at all, but can see how others wouldn't tolerate.
But if it helps raise the profile of the fugly character import issue (if it needed it!) then it's for a good cause, tumor and all.

People on here don't seem to like her though. Which is probably becuase she was in dragon age 2 dlc.
It's become law here that anything made past 2010 by bioware must be meet with hate and animosity by fans, lest they send the wrong message to bioware and admit something they made might actually be good.

Day's better than Chobot...still wasn't overly impressed by her.

And P.S. I don't blame her for being upset about her import. I was, too.

Was the discussion ever about face import bug? It was about Felicia Day's opinion on it.
People need to judge whether her opinion is worth anything.
