Graphics-wise:

PC(especially with all the HD texture mods) > PS3 > Xbox 360

Xbox 360 screenshots

I'm playing the 360 version of DA:O on a 1080p HD monitor and I haven't seen anything that bad in my game. The "cardboard forest" valley overlook was a bit disappointing, but my armor and shiled textures are nowhere near that blurry.

I'm wondering if installing the game to the harddrive might be the reason? Perhaps those blurry textures are simply caused by texture load-in when playing of the disc or some kind of glitch that prevents the higher-res textures from popping in?

I saw 360 version in action and even played it for about 15 minutes. It's pretty decent and definitely not ugly or crappy. PC version on high settings is better of course, but difference is not that noticeable. Controls, on the other hand, are god awful on 360.

It's not ugly or crappy or bad. It's good. If you want optimal graphics you're better off playing the PC version rather than console.

i have both PC and 360 version and im satisfied in both , true that the 360 dont have tactical zoom in but it s because of the console limitation , grafics are nt crap as some people claim , probably another PC RULEZ CONSOLEZ SUXXOR fight again , maybe you could go at a video rental place and check if they rent it try it and see for yourself (360 version), i like mine and i m happy to have bought a CE for both

You all were warned about xbox 360 detail and the texture downgrade and destaturation. In all reviews,,, jesh,, sorry a 299 box cant compete with a 1-2k+ pc... I have a ps3 with a 1080p 120hz Samsung 52" and i still decided on my pc vs ps3 but i have a dell 30" so if nice...anyway blah to console if you have a good pc that can run it.

I'm playing the 360 version on 1080i, and I think the graphics are just fine. My only criticism is the pools of blood, and that it takes a little while for the soldiers to show up at the Battle of Ostagaar when you look off the bridge. People seem to be really exaggerating the differences, and the screenshots posted before seem to have been washed out - it looks nothing like how the game appears to me.

The XBox 360 version has the graphic detail of the PC set to medium. Personally I am satisfied withthe graphics of the game. Not as great as Mass Effect, better than Oblivion's, pretty much on par with Fallout 3. On a scale to 1 to 10, I give the graphics a 7.5.

I haven't seen much of DA:O outside of my 360, but really the graphics aren't that bad. I only recently (about 15hrs or so into the game) noticed something wrong with the graphics, which was some trees in the distance. Most of the time when you're playing, you won't notice it unless you're looking for it, except for maybe a few clipping errors, which i believe are present in every version.

Of course, if you have a high end pc, you will find the graphics preferable.

I would like to know since when is a P4 3.4 and 8800 series and 4gigs ram high end? that will run DOA on max and it a 3ar old setup of not older../sigh,,,, pc is actually so far ahead consolers have no idea....Yes we pay a price a hell of a price its not fun paying 300$ for a vid card or whaterver. but that why we get the best...

Graphics are more than fine.

Only people who complain are PC elitists...seriously...if the graphics were that bad, they would not have released the game.

Yeah, just like Bioware wouldn't have released Mass Effect for 360 if it had terrible frame rate drops in combat and huge texture pop-in issues..... oh wait.

Seriously though, it looks decent. Just wish they had put more effort on texture of character faces and outfit, since that is what you (at least I) mainly focus on. I don't really pay that much attention to low-res environment.

So to the OP: you don't want to miss out on a great game because of the graphics, not this one at least. I have the 360 version and after a couple of hours, I almost didn't think about it anymore... just a little sometimes. :)
