So great, some folk are glitching and getting multiple packs and I don't even get one. Damn, great as I am it sucks to be me at times

No victory pack and no commendation pack make me a sad little hobbit.

I might get nothing if Bioware can't fix the glitch... I guess enjoy your packs.

Once again it was a COMPLETE accident for a lot of people, including me, and it was caused by merely playing SP. Obviously that's an extremely, extremely easy way to trigger a glitch. None of us could have known.

These progamming errors are very easily missed - hell, I've done it several times myself in the last few days on a little 2D game I'm working on for fun - i ended up giving the player the abiltiy to pay for something once at a shop, then keep getting copies for free and sell them back to make one big profit for a few mins works - amazing how one typo threw the hole thing out of whack, and my guess is that;s what's happened here...

or they forgot the only 1 per person bit in their code

Also had this glitch happen to me.
Early this morning (for me), at about 7:30 AM GMT +1, I started ME3 to check what I got in my commendation pack this time, as I had an hour before I had to go to work. I opened it, recieved an N7 Eagle I (Already had the Crusader from the first event). I played one gold match, then called it quits (I think).
Then, nine hours later, roughly, I get home, play some more MP, and then some singleplayer stuff. The game crashes, I start it up again, goes to MP, but never play or open the store. Instead I finish the prologue up to the beginning of Mars in SP and then I go back to MP. I knew I had enough for a Spectre pack, so I though I'd buy one. Then I see a Victory pack and a commendation pack sitting there waiting for me.
I just figured I'd forgotten to redeem it that morning, or that it hadn't registered somehow, and redeemed it now. But, alas, it was a new one, as I recieved an upgrade for my Eagle. Damn it.
Then I went here a while later, and saw some other people had experienced this.

I wish I hadn't pressed that redeem button again, even if it wasn't my fault.

i promoted 3 and only got a victory pack

Well, I want my commendations pack as the victory packs were useless to me.
You can take them back as I left SP to check to see if we had gotten them. I got one victory
I then went back to my SP for a hour or so and a friend invited me to play MP
I had another VP but again it game me nothing i want

I just want the commendations pack now thanks to this glitch I might not get that or my 4 or 5 characters back......

They addressed this issue so fast yet they leave the credit glitch unpatched? They need to get their priorities straight.

Promoted 4 and all I got was a bunch of bugged characters. No packs at all. Awesome!

Man, it's a co-op game. Seeing others benefit from an accidental glitch doesn't hurt you. I don't understand why people are actually bitter toward others who just happen to luck out. It's like complaining to Kellogg's because your buddy's Fruity Pebbles had two prizes at the bottom of the box and yours only had one.

I promoted 4 characters - figured you get a pack for every 2 characters you promote (I got 2 commendation packs).

I also played some singleplayer between bouts of multiplayer so... Less of an exploit and more a really really easily triggered bug.

i promoted 3 and didn't get anything and was everyone supposed to get a pack for completing the goal cause i didn't get that too

That's hilarious that some would think their packs are being stolen. It's not like there's a set limit on the packs being handed out. This isn't a UN air drop into an impoverished warzone.

If you had reporting turned on, receiving the pack is based on your account. If you qualified you'll get what you get.

Those getting multiples are doing so because of a programming error. Seeing as that's the fault of BW/EA there's not going to be any backlash there either. Or they'll first have to ban themselves in all fairness.

As it is i'm pissed that I didn't get a second set since I promoted 4 and only got a freaking hurricane (again!).

Folks, please read the update sticky. Commendation packs are temp suspended because someone was exploiting.

Yeah but it's like Bioware doesn't even care about the credit glitch and that's a hundred times worse than getting a couple extra commendations packs.

Hacks (like the credit thing) are harder to fix than this, which is one big programming goof on the MP teams part.
