I got one (just one) victory pack yesterday evening but never received my commendation for promoting my two characters... I wonder if I will ever get it?

I haven't gotten either pack, but then again I only checked shortly before the servers went online, and I'm guessing the packs were suspended by then due to this glitch.

Same here. If that is the case, it should have been clearly mentioned so that there wouldn't have been no room for misunderstandings. <_<

I got 2 victory packs for some reason but no commendation, so i guess its because bioware are stopping these damn cheaters that keep causing us delays and problems

Where did ANYONE get the idea if you promoted several chars. You'd get more packs? Thy didn't do this with their other operation so common sense plays a bit there....

P.s. thanks to everyone who "stumbled" upon the glitch and act like they did nothing wrong...everyone else gets screwed now.

who stumbled upon that and acted like he didn't do something wrong? read the thread before posting. the people here reported the issue so that no one could exploid it any more. so you are complaining in the wrong thread to the wrong people.

btw funny store house mdd, if you received 2 victor<y packs this makes you also one of the bad bad cheaters you are complaining about. see what i did here?

realize people, you just had to play SP for 1min and then you would get a new pack, of cause there are some people who exploided that, but many who received 2 packs didn't do that on purpose. and for the record again: i only opened 1 each as it was meant to be. comlpain about people with n7 weapons x (if you see them)

Why would you want to know how to replicate these results? Are you intending on abusing the glitch? If so i hope youre aware bioware can read this >.>

No matter how you look at it, to those of us that put in those hours to promote 4-8 characters, we should be the ones getting doubles. And yet here we are to either not have gotten the packs or only one back.

Maybe I am just urked and a bit jealous of it all but I still think it is a a tad bit unfair for the rest of us who also put in those hours to level up characters.

Everytime you make a save in SP, it reups the packs in MP.

I too opened a second victory pack which appeared--I was confused, thought it must be the commendation pack with an incorrect name. It wasn't. But I had to open the second pack to find that out.

Confusion =/= cheating.

well i can comfirm people are getting double packs. i got both my packs last night opened the store this morning had both packs again. got a hurricane last night and a eagle today. so now i got a total of eagle I hurricane I and a valiant I. hope i dont get banned. i figure it makes up for how many times i get kicked from the store after buying and never get the items. that happens so many times i lost count. actually it happened last night maybe thats why i got 2 sets of packs?

I know when I look at my game content, I have packs for both PC and 360, even though I don't own one. So maybe there was a mix-up somewhere.

I got 2 of each. I buy the packs play a game. Turn off Xbox. 2 hours later at around 12-2am turn Xbox on... See "new" on the store. See both packs I had bought previously. My natural conclusion was it must not have saved my unlock so it resent them. I buy them again... Check my guns because it was a eagle... Wait a second I have a hurricane ii... Oops oh well.

they should have kept the glitch on until every one got double packs, as is its unfair to ban them because of the dev's mistake.

also unfair for the rest of us that we only got 1 set of packs.

most of you complaining about not getting commendation packs most likely didnt have feedback on like you are supposed to. i bet most have turned it on after the event and acting like you had it on the whole time, just because you dont want to own up and look dumb but still get the reward.

Yes I'm a cheater. Just like the others did pretty much what I did. Turn off Xbox do other things turn on Xbox. See new items buy new items play game like nornal

I've stuck this in a few places and I'll put it here, too:

I feel bad for those who have not yet received their pack, let me make that clear.

&nbsp;I think there has to be a fine line between glitch-victims and exploiters. I am a "glitch-victim".

Did I hack in any way?&nbsp;No.
Did I purposefully seek this glitch out? No.
Was I using the game as it was intended to be? Yes.
Did I have to do anything unusual? No.
Past the second pack, did I continue with it? No. I was wary and visited the forums, discovering it was a glitch.
Did I set out to keep people from packs? No.
Am I open and honest about the glitch happening to me? I think so.
Did people exploit this unfairly, resulting in more than one additional 'accidental pack'? Quite likely.
Will I happily give back the items I received out of the second pack? Yes.

I think its unfortunate an apparent coding glitch on BioWare's part has opened up such a can of worms. Some of us stumbling into it and now being labeled "evil". Allowing some people to exploit it repeatedly. And keeping some people from receiving their packs at all.

I think our best plan would be attempt to remove the items (A Valiant II and some equipment in my case), and move on. Blood-cries for bans will just get people unfairly caught. Fix the code glitch, remove the items, and move on.

A part of he discussion is a bit ridiculous. 99% of the people who scream "cheater!" would have opened a 2nd commendation pack themselves - I personally do not feel cheated at all because someone else got lucky - and I am also not going to arrange a mob lynching because a neighbour won 50 bucks in the lottery.

A lot of these people are glitch victims yes. I daresay most people fall into that category there are however a good many who upon finding out about this glitch went on their way to replicating the results they are the "cheaters" not people who stumbled upon it accidentally. Personally i really dont care that people exploited this it hasnt effected me in any way i got my N7 Valiant I and am overly happy with it. However i was fortunate enough to receive my commendation pack and there are a great many out there who were not. Now because of this glitch and those who chose to exploit it those people are now SOL for the time being on their pack. Ban everyone who got more than one? No, no i dont think so. Ban everyone who exploited it? Nah that still seems a bit extreme. But get everyone who got screwed their packs and perhaps throw insomething for the inconveniance ya? This isnt their fault and they are the ones getting punished here.
