Secondary hard drive failed...all my games were installed there. Many issues including system instability, so I fixed my problems, instaaled a new data drive and did a clean install of Windows saving my DAII folders that were on "C" to a flash drive.
Now I am going to reinstall DAII and ME2 that are there on Origin that also has to be redone. Should I just reinstall DA2 and then re-login to Origin or do the Origin install first. I presume my DLC's will still be available to me. Is it best to start the game and then copy my saved stuff from the flash drive including the saved games? I didn't get to play the game that much so I'm not really that far into it. Will I be able to reinstall ME2 from the Origins server?
I have the retail version of DAII and did not use Steam. Thanks.

Yes and Yes.
Probably best to have EA:Origin installed before anyting else. That way if there are any hiccoughs, you have the capability of a clean digital download of your registered game(s) no matter what.
After making your new install including any DLC, (from whatever source) copying your profile's "\\BioWare\\Dragon Age 2"\\Characters" and "\\Packages" folders should get your saves and mods back as well.
It's not really that hard to do a complete un-/re-install of DAO or DA2. I went through it about six times when I was troubleshooting CtD issues with DAO patch 1.03, then another four when playing around with the UE over previous installs.
Still have my very first Warden!
