Seriously, I need an explanation:

level 276, infiltrator level 16, mantis VII, tempest VII, weapon upgrades, lots of missiles and medigel.

Why do you kick me? I'm serious. Do I need to be level 20? What? I just don't understand it. I'm asking this because this is not the 1st time today when I get kicked. I have been kicked 3 or 4 times today with different people.

Hey bro this is FoggyFishburne's husband. She kicked you because they were waiting for a friend.

Also: You should be using an smg with a sniper rifle and shouldn't be playing gold with a level 16 using such weak weapons.

That's why it'd been nice with the text chat or kick message.

That way people can at least know why they were kicked (Messed up loadout, party waiting for friend or they were just trolls).

Set the match to private and there you go, no one will join but your friends.

Edit: weak weapons? They were using nothing much powerful than mines.

Perhaps they were just hoping for a higher level, you could be more than good enough for gold but they don't know that at all.

I've played with people below lv20 for gold and sometimes they did a brilliant job, other times they done terrible. I personally find it extremely frustrating playing with people on gold who are clearly not good enough, made me lose equipment, rockets, medigel and time wasted...
Sometimes people just simply prefer people who look higher skilled just to be sure that they will have a good quality match.

I kick people mostly because they are not ready. People, when entering room, be ready. This may be different after you finish game and are about to enter another with the same party, but even then, 1 minute should be enough. If you need shopping, leave the party.
Also vanguards may receive kicks on silver, as they just spoil the fun. I'm yet to meet vanguard who's play style I would find useful on silver. They rule first 3 rounds, they they spend rest of the battle dead in the corner, in worse case some other team member will try to revive them and there will be two corpses lying there.
And on gold, anyone can be kicked, because team composition is vital.
Waiting for friend is also reason .. still in such case it would be nice to apologize over com ..

If you are waiting for a friend, why not create a private match? That way a random won't join and need to be kicked. Also your friend can get in more easily.

I think when someone is level 276 is somekind of a proof that he/she is experienced enough. It's not like I'm at N7 30, I have been playing a lot already and won some gold games already.

Well for this one it sounds like they were waiting for a friend (set the match to Private, people!), but otherwise: *maybe* the level 16, *maybe* the loadout. But those are kinda thin reasons. I certainly wouldn't have kicked you.

Well, if I had a group with 2x infiltrators and an adept I would kick a third infiltrator (if all else equal the last arrived) without thought.

Infiltrators, usually, suck, real, bad, when, a, lot, is, present, and, they, start, to, wait, on, each, other, to, do, objectives.

They had two friends, Turaenor who already joined and NSGM who was about to join. they needed a fourth person and jeti was less bad looking than JAD2009.

Thanks, I guess.

I'm just asking this question because this has happened to me a few times today, and it's kind of frustrating. It's being impossible to me to play because sometimes, a low level player comes, others, the host leaves, others I get kicked. C'mon guys...

Depends on the Vanguard, I guess. I tend to be skimpy on the Charge, rely on the Stasis and basically use the same shooting and evading tactics I do for my Sentinel, and I do no better or worse than the average quickplay team I get into on Silver. That said, I still haven't qualified for Gold even in my own twisted mind, so...

Yes, they suck indeed, that's why this is the 1st time I try to level up an infiltrator but if can't even start to play, it's, kind, of, impossible, man.

Quoted for truth.

It would appear you don't really know your role when you're rocking those weapons.

The infiltrator rules through intense bursts of damage, usually through a sniper rifle or shotgun.

Throwing in an SMG (with the broken ultralight materials, to boot) looks like you're hedging your bets.

But generally, go back to the minor leagues and earn some decent weapons.

Everybody expects to be able to dive right into higher difficulties with crap gear and crap experience as a player.

Well man, I equip de SMG just for little moments when you may get in trouble with lots of enemies. If you have noticed it, I use the ultra-low-weight materials upgrage, so I only lost a 5% of power cooldown time.

I can see both sides of the argument here.

I've been guilty of kicking people whilst waiting for a friend myself. Private Match doesn't work unless you want to try to tackle Gold as a duo. You need public slots so that 2 randoms can make up the remainder of the team. On the subject, neither of us get much time on the game so want to make every match count. As such, we do sometimes kick people who are clearly going to make succeeding more difficult than it should be. You are on the threshold really. Level 20 isn't essential but you will be missing some keys upgrades at your current level. Your weapons are very average and you haven't got AP on your Sniper. The inclusion of an SMG makes people doubt your ability with the Sniper, and as SMGs are useless on Gold that is also an issue. Finally, you have no equipment active. That suggests that you're not that dedicated to beating the mission, especially with a sub-optimal loadout.

Not trying to be mean, just explaining some of the things that may have influenced the decision to kick you.

On the other hand, people should always communicate if they're kicking. If I do vote to kick, I always say why. This gives the person a chance to respond and argue the point, or even change up to another class/character/weapon etc.

protip:
1. Drop the smg
2. Get to 20
3. Buy a bunch of recruit packs to get your mantis to X. It's what I did
4. Don't waste time complaining on forums.
5. Then join gold games.

It wasn't even a Mantis X, which is one of the easiest power weapons to get. Also, lvl 16 human infiltrator isn't anything special at all.

Also also, N7 doesn't mean anything. I have a friend who is N7 ~40 who plays and beats Gold more than I do.

A level 16 isn't good enough for gold?  You're one sad player.

Hey bro you do know a mantis is actually a very respectiable weapon for a infiltrator right?  Sure it doesn't give off the glamor like the BW, Widow, Javelin or Vailant but it sure as hell still good to go for any sniper that doesn't have thos weapons yet.
