Hey bro you do know a mantis is actually a very respectiable weapon for a infiltrator right?  Sure it doesn't give off the glamor like the BW, Widow, Javelin or Vailant but it sure as hell still good to go for any sniper that doesn't have thos weapons yet.  

I would kick the level 16 too. I don't play gold for the exp, I don't expect others in my group to do so either. Go play another class.

Things like this do not mean you will fail. You can be perfect set for salarian infilitrator with widow X .. and still you can be **** which will ruin the game. You can be engineer level 1 and be useful. I've actually got most points with engineer 1, over infilitrator level 15 and vanguard level 10 .. sure, it was bronze, what I mean is in silver and gold you need decent build and very good cooperation. This is decent build. Not perfect, but decent .. and you can't judge the cooperation.

Your loadout is like an online profile or a resume - it contains information you choose to present about who you are.  Bad candidates with good profiles and resumes get more dates and interviews than good candidates with bad profiles and resumes.

The same principle is at work here.  We can't know how good you are before the match begins.  All we can do is judge whether or not you're likely to be good from the information we're provided, and the loadout is by far the strongest signal available.

No, luck cannot explain the observation given an N7 in the high 200s.  He's buying Veteran/Spectre packs, which are the wrong thing to buy for the weapon he's chosen.  This is very cut and dried.

Recruit packs are cheap enough that there really isn't a good excuse for having those weapons below X if you intend to use them.  Even an N7 50 can easily have those weapons at level VII.

I agree with this. I don't care if your N7 level is over 500... If you join my gold runs with lower than lvl 18, I will move to kick you. It's nothing personal. I understand that you can have really good weapons, understand the maps, and have really good strategy. But I think that on gold runs, having close to max powers is really important. 

On top of that, I didn't see what the other people were in the match, but I don't want more than one infiltrator in my gold runs. I think that their main purpose is to revive and complete objectives, and you only need one for those.

My only exception to the lvl 18+ is for Salarian Engineers... I'll take 15+ for that as long as they agree to spam decoy the whole match.

What the hell do you think I used until I got a widow? A mantis X. And it took me about a day to get that from recruit packs. 

Yeah, that's exactly what I do when the person is teaching me is right and says coherent and resonable things. This isn't the case.

This is PC. Besides, that something is bugged (never happened to me before) doesn't mean you shouldn't use it because you make people waste their time.

You do realize that you can still make your own game and assemble your own squad with people that would be willing to play with you?

Anyway I have to agree with the loadout suggestions you got.
Definetely loose the mantis clip capacity and the smg ultralight materials. Those 2 are a waste and only show that you have little understanding of the game. And do your best to get that mantis to 10 asap. If you get rid of those... and maybe use equipment you will much less likely to be kicked.

Also as people stated you don't need an SMG.... unless you have picked - 30% SMG weight and you are carrying an smg that weighs nothing, in which case you would be dumb as you have more important skills to level. (I am actually not sure at the moment if the human infiltrator even has that option though)

FYI, just because I can, today I played a Gold match as a 15 Salarian Infiltrator with just a Mantis X....
We made it to extraction, I played as a team with the team.... I still got top score. And one guy had a Valient IV and a Saber II. I see no reason to say that the Mantis is a weak weapon.

As for the Mantis it actually has the best damage to weight ratio of ALL the snipers.

Secondly, I run a sniper and pistol combo, not SMGs, SMGs on Gold is like throwing a cup of Ramen noodles at the enemy.

N7 - 409 is my rating. <_<

I think it was a type. OP was running with an SMG, people are saying he Shouldnt use an smg.

I only boot people on silver or gold matches that are level 5 or lower. I don't care about N7 rating. I actually enjoy the thought of helping someone finish a gold who has a low N7 rating. Its cool knowing you mighta been the reason for their first clear.

I don't know why they boot you OP but don't stress about it. Some people are just [fill in the blank.]

If you're going to tell lies, do so in a more believable fashion, there is no way a person can have Valiant IV unless he's using glitches or is just cheating. There were only two events to get the weapon and even then you would have to be lucky to get Valiant both times. Not to mention there isn't a sane person who would equip both Saber and Valiant at the same time. They both fullfill almost exactly the same role and they aren't what I'd call lightweight.

The way I see it the time you spend switching from Sniper to your backup weapon is better spent ziplining to the ammo cache in cloak or pressing an ammo pack button (you should have a ton of those), they're there for a reason. Why on earth would I want to switch from a more powerful gun to a less powerful one? It just serves no purpose.

Your N7 level isn't necessarily proof you can play the game well. It can also be proof that people are good at grinding or riding around in the jansport.

Because obviously not all your friends get online at same second as you. You may have started up a public match, see have another friend logon then want to invite them to your game. This means you boot a random to make room for your friend.

There are several problems here.

- Your Mantis isn't level X. It's very easy to get it there by spamming Recruit packs if it's your weapon of choice. That's the worst signal you're sending.
- You think that Ultralight works. It doesn't.
- You think you need a backup weapon on an Infiltrator. You don't. With a little forethought, you can always move to a hidden position, cloak, then reset somewhere safe.
- You're playing a Human Infiltrator, which is inferior to the Salarian and also is inferior to the Quarian on the typical White/Geth farm.
- You aren't max level, and you're on the low end of the levels people won't kick you for on Gold. This would be fine if not for the above issues.

Fix these things and you'll get booted less.

+1 to this. Constructive feedback. Do all this and your welcome to any sliver or gold game.

Max the Mantis and drop the tempest IMHO. If you're going for a backup weapon, grab a Predator X. Both the Mantis + Predator are common weapons. A single silver match nets you 6 recruit packs. Spam them till everything common is maxed. Avoids some annoyances from Veteran / Spectre packs.

Finally, Ultra-light materials is bugged. You cooldown bonus on the power screen increases, but your cooldown times stay the same. Hopefully it'll be in the first upcoming patch.

Aside: I have no problem with people wielding backup weapons on the "middleweight" sniper rifles, I do it all the time. I wouldn't do it with a Black Widow / Valiant on a Salarian due to their weight, but on a human infiltrator it can be fine. If you pick the last +capacity, the predator is weightless. I'd much rather switch out and mash fire against phantoms than quickscope with a viper.

I don't get stressed, don't worry. I just came here to point this out, I knew the answer before posting the question. This just a way to make the multiplayer a bit more relaxed, since it seems there are a lot of unwritten rules created by those [fill in the blank] people.

All this complaining makes me think - there should be some kind of a ME3 MP etiquette sticky, so those poor little noobies know all those dos and don'ts.

I'm also tired of constantly leaving gold lobbies with lvl 10 Asari Adepts with Sabers and Human Soldiers with Tempests. But I get it, we all started somewhere.

1. Using a secondary weapons with your sniper rifle represents insecurity and lack of ability.
2. i get the not everyone gets the widow... but just buy the dam recruit packs and get your mantisX so you dont look like total trash...
