Quit whining and move on. I seriously don't understand all the threads about getting kicked. It's not like there aren't enough lobbies. This isn't just specific to your case but applies to all who have or will make a thread about being kicked.

The only people who truly know why you were kicked are those that actually kicked you. We don't know why nor do we care.

Also: You should be using an smg with a sniper rifle and shouldn't be playing gold with a level 16 using such weak weapons.

Have you ever heard of private lobby/matches? You know when you click the small arrow on where it says "PUBLIC" you can change it to private and invite just friends.

Side arm + not knowing Ultra light weight do not work

That combine with high N7 level usually mean you just play a lot and not paying attention to details. The N7 level hurt you in this case.

I was once kicked with my level 20 Krogan with a Widow X and GPS X. All level V mods. Tons of gels and rockets. Sometimes people are just jerks. I also have a low N7 because I don't promote. Thats the other big reason alot of idiots think N7 means something. If I have a Widow X and GPS X with a level 20 character and all V mods you should not give a  **** what my N7 is.

To be fair, 80% of the Krogans I play with disregard weapons and attempt to melee the world. they probably should've checked your load out first but you can't blame lazy people for refusing a krogan.

It takes less then 2 seconds to check someones weapons. Krogan is a great class as long as your not an idiot. They could have taken the less then 3 seconds to check my loadout.

That's understandable ignorance rather than stupidity though.  It's reasonable to assume that a mod works until you have reason to believe otherwise.  I always try to tell people over the mic that ULM doesn't work.  Don't know if the message ever gets through though, since I see lots of people still using it.

It doesn't get through. Have told a tonne myself too.

And a question aimed at OP. Do you really want to play with people who would kick you in a heartbeat without explaining first why? If the answer is no, then maybe it's time to let it go as people have given possible reasons which aren't acceptable to you. If it's yes, then I can't help you really.

What's not to understand? Everyone should be mic'd on gold (unless seeing 4 rockets flying at the same spot on the ground is somehow fun) so how hard is it to spend the three seconds to explain to someone why they are getting the boot? We are literally all on the same team in this game, so it makes no sense to not help others learn why adepts don't need sniper rifles, or why common weapons should be rank X before moving up because it literally takes an hour to upgrade all of them.

We're polarizing our own community by the silent kicking "don't ask why just take it" attitude by keeping the n00bs down and making this an elitist game. Marauder Shields would not approve for his sacrifice is in vain this way.

Why do you kick me? I'm serious. Do I need to be level 20? What? I just don't understand it. I'm asking this because this is not the 1st time today when I get kicked. I have been kicked 3 or 4 times today with different people.

- Lv16 human character (meaning your more fragile than average)
- Mantis VII (not maxed, horrible rate of fire-> low dps even with the cloack boost)
- tempest with lightweight (meaning you're not aware that lightweight is bugged and doesn't work).
- class that doesn't have any specialized anti-shield/anti-armor skills), and little cc.
- No special ammo/boost used.

Any single of those factors doesn't matter much. But all of them together, in a gold lobby, suggest you won't carry your own weight. You should play in silver until you max your character, get a better weapon, and get ready to use those ammo/armor  boosts you surely have. What are you going to do with them if not for a gold game anyway?.

I would kick you too.

My rules with randoms are 12+ for silver and 18+ for gold. With gold I also check someone's weapons and if they have crap (like in your case) I would kick them

What a bunch of elitists... the question was answered just two posts down from the original post and it had nothing to do with weapons or build. Also, I never judge a player by build or weapons, but by play style. I have a high N7, might be level 20, have some neat weapons and still suck. Others lead the match with a level 1 because they're smart.

Anyway, for those who weren't aware that you can make a half-private match:

- Make a private game, invite your friend.
- wait until friend has joined
- go to match settings and change to public
- wait for the slots to fill up with strangers, start match.

ultra light mats are bugged, they dont actually affect anything. until it's fixed, it is a 100% wasted space. also, you definitely do not need to be 20 to do gold, at all. at best, you got kicked because they were inviting someone. at worst, elitism.

They could have kicked you for being a Human Soldier, since they're also apparently trying to kick the Human Vanguard they probably believe the only things that should be used on Gold are Infiltrators, Engineers, and Asari Adepts.

Also I have to ask, why does the map and the faction say the exact same thing?

Lol, I almost got kicked once for being level 3 on a silver. Came out on top with almost double the person's score below me. I've never been kicked from gold for being anything above level 14 though. I guess some are so focused on how levels really do affect how well you play in other games, but it's not as big of a deal (depending on the class) in this game.

Huh.

I've been using the Claymore with my Turian Soldier for 6 Gold games and not once have I been kicked or even voted to be kicked. Maybe I'm just lucky or maybe I'm teamed up with people that think "first impressions can be deceiving".

Cool thing is that on all 6 games we've won and even on two of them I scored first. Yay for cool build.
