To the people that they would kick people if they had a sidearm with a Sniper Rifle, you do realise that the only way to kill people close range with a sniper rifle is by Quick-Scoping them, and also what is wrong with having a sidearm with a Sniper Rifle?

There are several problems here.

- Your Mantis isn't level X. It's very easy to get it there by spamming Recruit packs if it's your weapon of choice. That's the worst signal you're sending.
- You think that Ultralight works. It doesn't.
- You think you need a backup weapon on an Infiltrator. You don't. With a little forethought, you can always move to a hidden position, cloak, then reset somewhere safe.
- You're playing a Human Infiltrator, which is inferior to the Salarian and also is inferior to the Quarian on the typical White/Geth farm.
 - You aren't max level, and you're on the low end of the levels people won't kick you for on Gold.  This would be fine if not for the above issues.

Fix these things and you'll get booted less.

I think it's less about the weapon itself, than the message it sends to other players when you can't even be bothered to max very-easily-maxed weapons before hopping into gold.

Wow, 99%? I have trouble keeping myself out of the red when I equip my javelin II

My first N7 Ultra Rare from my first Premium Spectre Pack too. I think they should bring its weight down to the Widow's level.

edit: yeah, well, that wasn't *quite* my point, though I was struggling to work out how it could be possible to get a javelin at 99%.

Have you ever heard of private lobby/matches? You know when you click the small arrow on where it says "PUBLIC" you can change it to private and invite just friends.

some people have issues with up&p and disconnecting from matches. from what i have read, if you have to turn it off you can't have private matches. so i have read.

To the people smashing their heads into their keyboard until their screen says "Make your lobby private."

You do realize, right, that there is a significant time after setting your lobby private where randoms can still join?

And before you say "Set it to private before you create it" you also must realize that people aren't always online at the same time.

I host for my friends every day and every day our lobby starts off with two or three of us and one or two randoms who have to be kicked later when friends sign on.

Would you rather we all just leave and create a new lobby just to avoid hurting your feelings and waste our own time? Or you could just grow up and not take vote kicking as a personal insult like an adult.

Okay just checked, I took the +20 Weight Limit under Quarian Defender and I'm at +39% Power cooldown time. I lot better than I remember. I guess I'll use it. Thought, the "hold the trigger for a second so the shot charges up" throws me off sometimes.

I mostly dislike it because of that 0.25 second firing delay.

Though there are a lot of benefits to living with it. Twice the pentration distance of a Widow and 4x that of a Black Widow, free Enhanced Scope that can also see through walls, 30% more damage than a Widow for targets where shield bleed isn't an issue.

For the weight, it's less of an issue if you spend minimal amounts of time inside Cloak. If you Cloak and immediately fire, you only go through a roughly 3 second cooldown, even if you're at -200%, but the longer you spend in it, the longer your cooldown is upto whatever it states in your character ability menu.

Well, today I learned the Cloack's cooldown is based off of how long you spend in it, I didn't realize that.

I would kick as well because:
(Note it is a combination of the below, if you failed less of the criteria, a kick may not be required)

1. Not using equipment.
2. Using a Mantis that is not X (Seriously... its not hard to get an X... why is it not X). It would probably be better if you had a widow as well, but a mantis x would have been acceptable
3. Not level 20
4. Using extra ammo mod on a mantis (wtf?!). You have to try REALLY hard to run out of ammo on a mantis X. Use an armour piercing mod instead.
5. Using ultralight weight materials. (They do not work, use any other mod e.g. extended clip)
6. Using a tempest as a secondary weapon. (n.b. point 5, Ultra light materials do not work, so you should've picked a lighter weapon, or no weapon at all)


Given your class, weapons, and the rest of the team's classes (2 other infiltrators and one adept, only one person on the team has an anti shield power (salarian infiltrator)), the teams build with you in it is horrible. You basically have no way to 1 hit ko a shielded enemy (shield gate will stop you), and you can not rely on any of your team to do it.
Something on the team has to change, and you appear to be the worst one there. (I can't not see the weapons on the other players, as long as they dont have anything ridiculous they will probably be fine)

btw, how on earth can you be a N7 200+ with out a mantis x... Surely you have been using your credits on "something" and you should either have a widow, or a mantis x by now??

This. 

Gold is about having a plan and sticking to it, hunkering down and holding the line. In other words, it's kind of boring unless you are into slow and methodical victories. I personally feel I have a good time on silver and make less credits. Since having fun is the most important thing.  You can buy packs till kingdom come and you might not get what you want, best to just have a fun time and let the packs fall where they will.

Edit: weak weapons? They were using nothing much powerful than mines.

actually, we've set the match to private before adn still gotten randoms popping in. I think there is a minute lag or so from setting it and actually being there. 

but since when is the mantis 7 a bad weapon?
