Hi folks,

Got frustrated after finishing my log homestead placeable only to find there were no windows suitable for it and switched to 2da editing. I was combining Pain's appearance 2da and a combat spacing mod I can't recall the author of off the top of my head (sorry), while doing this I decided to give the Elves of Faerun their proper height. It worked great, but now I'm wondering if I'll just be a strangely tall Elf in a world of shorties or if all the elves will be tall. Do NPCs grab 2DA information from the override or are they blueprinted at the standard vanilla height when playing SP?

Thanks,

Fez

Mine should have the combat spacing mod already included ( and akavit from sea of dragons did further refinements which really added to how it works in practice, which is probably why it does not have the old values ). It also includes the first person view mod that adjust the camera up a little bit.

It affects all npcs (blueprints) and players alike who use the same appearance, you can set a custom appearance ( duplicate line ), then change the players appearance via script, but the way you did it will affect all previously defined blueprints.

Cool. Thanks Pain, I like the nearly man sized Elves of Faerun canon. I added .2 to the creperspace on the character races from the other mod, the rest was the same. I haven't done much testing to determine the distances I like best yet though, I just didn't like the bunching in the vanilla combat. Thanks for making that 2DA available, it's well organized.
