Dragon Age 2 was lackluster, but by itself, I wouldn't be compelled to avoid DA3.
Even without DA2, however (let's just say that is was DA:O only so far), I would not feel comfortable buying DA3 until months after release with rave reviews thanks to ME3.
I think ME3 has hurt initial DA3 sales. Adding DA2, I predict a dismal release (but I'm no market analyst).
Sad because ME3 isn't a bad game. The ending just overshadows it so much that I lose focus on the rest.
Will you be an early adopter to DA3?
Would you go as far as getting pre-order and/or collector editions?
After ME3, will you play Dragon Age 3 at release?

Probably, Dragon Age is done by a completely different development team. It's not their fault ME3 had a nonsensical ending.

DA2 was enough reason for me to stop caring about the DA franchise.

I still haven't played DAII and I really enjoyed DA1, so probably not.

Yep. Dragon Age 3 will be a day 1 purchase.

I will not be pre-ordering anything from Bioware for the foreseeable future.
If I get DA3 it will be a year down the road, at a bargain price.

No, but not based on this, based on DA2.

It'll depend on what BioWare announces at PAX.

I'm not pre-ordering or getting on release day. But that was never the plan for me anyway.
I'll see what they do with Mass Effect 3, then wait for player reviews on DA3 and make my decision based on that.
Even though Mass Effect team really doesn't affect the Dragon Age team in any way.

I'll probably wait until I see actual player reviews.

After Dragon Age 2 I was not going to play DA3 at release. The technical problems alone were infuriating, talking to you shadow bug. I am up for buying it of course, but I am going to have to see that it doesn't end in a way that will be as...upsetting.

I'll wait for reviews, so day one no. I would beg the pre order crowd to stop, but that's useless. Which is a shame, since that would put a serious brake on a lot of these practices if these guys had to go into a market blind. Pre-ordering is absolutely lethal to gamers.

Yeaah...no...not after the pile of drek that DA2 was....
Between ME3 and DA2 (Both of which I pre-ordered) ... I'll be waiting for feedback before spending on anything else from BioWare....

Probably not.
I liked both DAO and DA2 but in the age of dlc for story content, simply will not buy it on release.
More like wait a year or two and buy the game of the year edition and get everything in 1 package.
