Dragon Age is developed by a completely different team. I think David Gaider even said that if you're gonna make a trilogy, you should end it on a high note, so I'm actually fairly optimistic. I also don't really get the hate for DAII. Sure, it wasn't on the same scale as Origins, but it set up the groundwork for a massive conflict that DA3 can exploit and for what it was, it was damned enjoyable. So yeah, I will be playing Dragon Age 3 at release.
Pretty sure Casey Hudson said the same thing at some point early on in ME3's development, and look how that turned out for ME3.
Plus, DA2 was a piece of rushed trash. So, that's a no for me.

I'm only going to be wary of future non-DA/non-Mass Effect games from Bioware (although that would be the case even if Bioware made a great ending for Mass Effect).

My opinion of it isn't really related to ME3, beyond deciding not to waste money on another CE.

This. the DA team learned from their mistakes(or so it seems, but we'll see how it goes) from DA2, and I hope they will great, just not buying on day one.TheJediSaint wrote...
Probably, Dragon Age is done by a completely different development team. It's not their fault ME3 had a nonsensical ending.

Probably not, since I never got in to DA2. If I ever replay the first (on pc this time) I may go back to that after it.
If you replay on PC: there are tons of great mods for DAO.

The overall story of Dragon Age is something i am very much interested in. If there is no mension of the warden however and the story is taking place in yet another dull city filled with the same spawning enemies and every basement, dungeon looking the same.. Well guess theres always room on facebook for a Retake Dragon Age Movement... lol

I will be waiting until there is extensive fan feedback (since we can't trust gaming review sites to not be just another way of marketing games).

2) While I'm not a huge fan of DA2, the DLC's Legacy and MoTA were quite good in my opinion. They are apparently listening, so DA3 might become a pre-order again.
