Wrote off the DA franchise after DA2, only bought ME3 because I trusted it was by a different team who would stay true to their promises. Sad to think I have to write off the ME franchise as well now.

After Dragon Age 2? Heck no, i have better things to do with my money. Dragon Age 2 already made sure i would wait for the initial customer reviews of the game and not buy it... let alone the collectors edition or any special edition like i did with Dragon Age 2. (I really, really regret buying that game.. let alone preordering, serves me right)

Mass Effect 3 and how they handle the situation now will decide if i turn my back on Bioware at large or if i'll atleast bother to read customer reviews. (And just for the record, i stopped caring what the press has to say about Videogames when they released their first glowing reviews about World of Warcraft)

Well the Dragon Age team brought me the endings of Origins, which were actually pretty good in my opinion, sure they were text dialogues but at least you had closure with everything and everyone you encountered. BUT on the other hand they gave me DA2, which had my favorite characters in the series (and Isabela ) but was overall, a really crappy game. I'll buy it, but not right away. I'll watch a bunch of reviews, and wait until the price drops.

Loved DA1, but haven't even played DA2; DA3 is more than likely a no. I'll just save my money for Guild Wars 2.

If they fix the endings, yes- the tragic thing for them at least is that I was verging on buying every RPG game of theirs that came out full price/pre-order but if they don't it's back to my best friends and their advice coupled with six months- a year after release.

Depends on two things.

A) How Mass Effect 3's solution to the retarded ending turns out.

If Dragon Age 3 is a return to form more like the first game, and the PC version doesn't get half-assed this time. Basically I want a proper PC sequel to Dragon Age: Origins.

I don't like Dragon Age so no. I would be willing to give it a try but I generally prefer Sci-Fi futuristic games to Medeival games.

I plan on getting Dragon Age and it's expansion but I do not play on getting Dragon Age 2.
So Getting Dragon Age 3 is also a big nope seeing how Mass Effect 3 turned out, I only expect the same despite it being a "different team".
