No. With the EA and BioWare finally confirming that they will not do the right thing, I will not buy another of their products. It's a shame to, considering I purchased all the following products of theirs over the years...
Baldur's Gate
Baldur's Gate: Tales of the Sword Coast
Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn
Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal
Dragon Age: Origins
Dragon Age: Origins – Awakening
Dragon Age: Origins - Leliana's Song DLC
Dragon Age: Origins - The Golems of Amgarrak DLC
Dragon Age: Origins - Witch Hunt DLC
Dragon Age II
Mass Effect
Mass Effect - Bring Down the Sky DLC
Mass Effect 2 (the one that already came with a lot of the DLC)
Mass Effect 2 - Arrival DLC
Mass Effect 2 - Lair of the Shadow Broker DLC
Mass Effect 3 Pre-Order
Neverwinter Nights
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
Unfortunately, ME3 will be the last dime I spend on the company after this debacle.
^This. Also my sig shows my feelings on the DA series. It crashed and buned into the side of a remote mountain in DAII. Call off the search parties. There were no survivors...

Dragon Age 2 was lackluster, but by itself, I wouldn't be compelled to avoid DA3.
Even without DA2, however (let's just say that is was DA:O only so far), I would not feel comfortable buying DA3 until months after release with rave reviews thanks to ME3.
I think ME3 has hurt initial DA3 sales. Adding DA2, I predict a dismal release (but I'm no market analyst).
Sad because ME3 isn't a bad game. The ending just overshadows it so much that I lose focus on the rest.
Will you be an early adopter to DA3?
Would you go as far as getting pre-order and/or collector editions?
Apart from a couple of issues with DA2, I actually liked the game, and I'm still looking forward to DA3 even though Bioware has not handled the ME3 situation good at all.
The Dragon Age team is an entire different team than the ME team, and they had some learnings from DA2 to with them as well. Not I fully expect them to be pressured into an early release with lots of DLC planned. That is just the business model of EA, so nothing to be done about that. I do think however that if the DA team follow all this ME3 ending nonsence, they'll come out the better for it. It is afterall by learning from your mistakes that you become better.
So on my account DA3 will be judged on it's own accord. The ME3 ending was a complete and utter mistake by Bioware and just because they now hide behind phrases as entitled whiners, artistic integrity etc. in order to not loose face, doesn't mean the DA team automatically will make the same writing mistake.

DA is done by a different development team.
And while it was no where near as good as origins (still shocked me that reviewers said this) DA2 had some good points. The graphics, the reputation system, the romance options etc. Even the story itself was good and had it been a film or a book its execution would have worked (the ending made sense too). Yes it was very flawed: too simplified in terms of RPG, pacing was awful, the save file transfer system etc.
And the team tried to do something different with the narrative structure. It didn't quite work but you shouldn't be too critical for their effort.
I would probably go for the CE edition but I will approach it with more caution. Though after da2 expectations should be better managed.

ME3: No past choice matters, auto-dialogue ARE shepards last words, A,B, or C. Same Ending.
DA3: Dialogue choices down to one, all paragon. Last half of the game is a CGI cutscene seting up a DA4 setting. Chobot plays a unremoveable teammate IGN 9.5/10 "Awesome button is awesome."
ME4: Does not bother with save games (too costly), All events in ME 1-3 are retcon. Bald space marine saves earth "story" line. Chobot plays shepards greatx9 daughter IGN 10/10 "Artistic"

Basically, I'll wait until the Director's Cut ending, and then decide how I feel about Bioware and new games.

And I'm not specific as to just Bioware games, the whole list of problems, from day 1 DLC, to bugs and glitches that should've been noticed months prior to release, and the random hiccups that seem to crop up even with the most reliable developers; it all seems to make buying any game on its first day a chancey deal.

Simply put no! Dragon Age 2 was a major let down to me considering how much I liked the original (bought ALL DLC and the expansion) and I only bought very few DLC for it as I pretty much couldn't stand to play the game.
Then I pre-ordered Mass Effect 3 hoping that the same mistakes made with DA2 wouldn't be repeated, alas it was not be be as ME3 compared to its predecessors felt shallow and half-hearted (in my opinion I hasten to add) and really dissapointed by the lacklustre ending.
I play games purely for fun and enjoyment and as a way for me to relax. The end sequence of ME3 has to a degree removed much of my joy playing the games of the series as it leads to a pretty grim conclusion.
While the announcement of a free DLC to explain the endings of the game are welcome to me they certainly do not address my concerns of not having the option of a semi-positive ending or endings which honetly I would in all likelyhood pay extra for a DLC (one which adds the posibility to get a resonably good ending - with LI, crew etc trying to rebuild the shattered galactic community and would be an optional download so those who ike the current endings do not have to purchase it) to get some sense of closure to an otherwise great game series.
But with the direction that has been taken lately with the games from both series I presonally have alot of misgivings about how DA3 will be presented and structured and will look to fan reviews (as I have never trusted or give any credence to most professional games reviewers) to see now whether the game will be worth purchasing or ignoring.
