No.

Actually, I cannot be certain, but I am currently cynical of BioWare. In the future, I am, as they say, hoping for the best, but expecting the worst. We'll see how the extended cut goes, but I have this feeling it's going to solidify my cynicism. I can be compulsive, and advertising does have an affect on me. If I do preorder DAIII, I'll be well aware I'm gambling as to the quality of the game. We'll see.

I own the entire both Baldur's Gates, and both expansions. Actually, I've purchased multiple copies. I own Neverwinter Nights (+ expansions [and the platinum edition {and the diamond edition}]), Knights of the Old Republic, and Jade Empire.

I was savoring Mass Effect (actually, immunity numbed the combat, even at highest difficulty, but the story and quests!) and awestruck by Dragon Age: Origins. Hell, Mass Effect is the reason I have a X360 (which has since taken up the role of household ornament.) I enjoyed the changes to the combat in Mass Effect 2, and I was fine with Dragon Age II (although this was dependant on ignoring the art style, which was rather obnoxious, and several gameplay events which were the reason I avoid JRPGs) and I enjoyed Mass Effect 3... until, tragically...

I considered myself a loyal fan of BioWare (if formerly a silent one) since I played Baldur's Gate II (which was the first game I played). I've preordered everything since Mass Effect (except that Sonic game, the SWTOR MMO, and those ipad games) and maintain that BGII is the gold standard of RPGs. Currently, I am telling my friends who own ME3 not to finish the game, even though I know they will. The game is just that good that you won't expect the ending, even with warning. Anyone else who will ask me if they should buy ME3, I will tell them "no."

Likewise, I doubt my brother will, who introduced me to BioWare and is more impetuous but more logical than I, and he liked DAII less than I did, but he has yet to finish ME3. I find it very unlikely he can accept ME3's ending.

Hopefully, I'll be enjoying Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition soon, reminisce where BioWare first gained fame.

*sigh* Now I'm sad. Even Boo can't dissipate these grey clouds. :(

Nope. I will wait for the extended cut. All will depend on that. But, no pre-order for sure. I hated DA2, loved DAO.

I wasn't planning on pre-ordering DA3 not because of ME3, but because of the god awful DA2.

No. If it gets good customer reviews I might pick it up on sale after it's been out a while.

If they release an eventual GotY/Ultimate Edition, I might get that...but DA3 will not be a launch purchase. I've lost faith in Bioware. If not for the ending, their PR bull@#$% has completely turned me off.

Dragon Age 2 was lackluster, but by itself, I wouldn't be compelled to avoid DA3.

Even without DA2, however (let's just say that is was DA:O only so far), I would not feel comfortable buying DA3 until months after release with rave reviews thanks to ME3.

I think ME3 has hurt initial DA3 sales. Adding DA2, I predict a dismal release (but I'm no market analyst).

Sad because ME3 isn't a bad game. The ending just overshadows it so much that I lose focus on the rest.

If DA3 is more like DA Origins then heck yeah! DAO was one of my favorite RPGs.

Hell no. I'm waiting somewhere between a week and a month to start reading CUSTOMER reviews, then depending on whether they were positive or negative, I will either buy or ignore the product.

I will be waiting to see what happens with the DLC this summer. I loved both DA:O and DA2 but unless they can clean up this mess properly I will not be purchasing anything further from EA/BioWare.

I'm actually a little late to the party and just recently completed DA:O, now working on DA:2. The game is a lot more repetitive and I'm finding myself not caring too much about my companions, save for two. I have, however, read the statements made by the guy who is working on DA:3 and he's made a couple of comments that skirt around wanting to collaborate with fans to avoid a similar fiasco with ME3.

With that said.. it's nice to see they're taking fans into account, but I don't know if I'm willing to pre-order it and play on the day of release. I'll probably wait for reviews from both mainstream critics and also fan critics to decide.

Depends on how well the EC DLC is and to be honest, no more pre ordering from Bioware until they regain my trust. I WANT to support Bioware, but they really need to do a better job communicating to their fanbase and living up to their promises/expectations.  Sorry no artistic integrity can cover up such a horrible ending.

Day one DLC fiasco, DA2 was horrendous (for me), and the ME3 ending is just icing on the cake. I will tell everyone I know and then some to wait as well, Bioware has just dropped the ball too many times I can't endorse them like I did before and will certainly wait for "user" reviews instead of critics.

Not on release, no. DA2 didn't deserve the brutal lynching it got, but it still made me cautious. The obvious drop in Bioware's quality standards, however; has made me positively skittish.

No here as well.  I am going to wait until people beat the game and will judge by the ending.  I think that is going to be the rule  from now on with Bioware for me.

Dragon age and mass effect have completely different development teams, it is dishonest to suggest otherwise.

Yes! I'll pre-order it. Have you seen the stuff they're discussing?

Like all the stuff they 'discussed' for ME3?  All the endings, every choice mattering, closure of Shepards story! etc etc.

Yea..let them discuss all they want.  Until it's ingame and seen, its all fluff.

I've enjoyed the Dragon Age series so far, but no I won't pre-order or buy the first day. If the majority of player reviews are good, then I'll probably pick it up a few weeks after release.

I was not impressed at all with DA2 which I pre-ordered, I will wait and see what the reviews on Amazon say after about a week or so, usually if player reviews all say the same thing, then you know to wait for a price drop.

No, I can barely get an interest in my other games after ME3, Bioware have a lot of work to do in regaining my confidence.

No. I never got into the DA series in the first place, and after this catastrophe, that definitely will not change.

It won't have Hawke or the Warden in it. Why can't they decide on an antagonist???
