After DA2 I totally lost interest. Sure, it was a fun game, but not worth its money. I'll get DA3 from the sales bin. It'll be there after a month anyway if it follows DA2 and ME3.

I will not preorder DA3, but it's mostly because of DA2, only slightly because of ME3. After all, it's two different teams making the games, though united under the banner of EA.

I will probbably purchase Dragon Age 3 later on, when the price drops.

nope, i have never pirated a bioware game, i think DA3 will be my first one, just as a slap to the face to them. i know 1 game wont change the profit but hell... screw it.

I never even finished DA2 and have no interest whatsoever to get DA3...

Well I am assuming DA3 will follow the new Bioware/EA formula and become more of a twitch/hack/slash multiplayer-esque streamlined game highly suitable for lots of simplistic non-story DLC (outfits, weapons, maps, etc) so umm... no.

Probably. The only problem I felt with DAII was that it had "second part trilogy syndrome," where the story isn't complete without the third installment. Similar to Pirates of the Caribean: Dead Man's Chest, Back to the Future Part II, etc. I'm looking forward to DAIII to wrap up the stories I started.

Ironically, Mass Effect 2 did not have "Second Part Trilogy Syndrome," with a satisfying conclusion that made you anxious for the next installment, yet didn't feel like it had simply broken off before it was finished. Then you get to the end of ME3. . .

I thought everything about DA2 was great except for the bland, repetitive environments. That game could have been much better if it would have had a better sense of atmosphere. Instead there were like...what?...5 envioronments that were copied and pasted everywhere. That was frustrating. The story, characters, and gameplay were all good. You can just tell it was another EA rush job. The game is better than it should be in all honesty, and its a credit to Bioware that it wasn't a complete disaster.

When they release it, I'll buy and play the other ones while waiting to see if the ending is full of plot holes...

It depends on what I hear about it from now up until release. Making a decision now is just silly.

Regardless, I think I probably will. For all its flaws, I quite liked DA2, and with longer development, DA3 wil probably be better. I'm certainly not going to fault the DA team for Walters's and Hudson's ME3 screw-up.

I never got into Dragon Age quick enough since I am in a state of being continuously broke, especially after buying ME 2 on sale, and after hearing the lackluster reviews of DA 2, I'm waiting for it to go on sale on Origin, especially since it's not available on Steam anymore.

Hahahahahaha.
Never.

They had a horrible ending that voided the choices in DA2, and another horrible ending that voids your choices in ME3. No way in hell I'll buy the next installment of disappointment theatre.

I've never even played DA. Definitely not going to now. When it turned out ME3 CE had run out sooner that expected in my country and the stores had to cancel some preorders, including mine, they offered a free game from EA classic series as consolation. Glad I picked Crysis.

I won't be purchasing any Bioware product for awhile. I canceled my The Old Republic sub as well. Mass Effect 3 was the shortest of the series, the most unpolished, and it feels like an unfinished game. It doesn't end, it just stops. Then we get that insulting ad tag to the end beckoning us to purchase DLC.

If/when Bioware makes a shift back to the company that made me a fan I'll be more than happy to support them. If they keep flushing out rushed games with content that tries to pander to certain groups while supporting watered down narratives that are supposed to appeal to a wide audience I won't be purchasing those games or that content.

For sure I will, I think they have gotten the message with DA2 criticism (a lot of it unwarranted)  and the ME3 endings end game criticism totally justified.

What I might not do is buy the ME3 dlc until it is a bargain price if at all.

After those disasters called DA2 and ME3 endings, I won't. I'm not that crazy.

I hate saying this since I'm sure the Dev team on it are ever bit as devovted to their work as the ME team, but with EA attached to it and after seeing the trending changes in both DA2 and ME3 with their involvment I don't think I'll play it untill I hear solid consumer reviews. If ME3 had be an out the park hit I would have already been putting cash toward it on the first day Gamestop let me, just like I did with ME3.

Congratulations EA, you've converted me from an enthuastic consumer to a highly causious consumer. Bet I'm not the only one.

I think I'm done with preordering games in general. Saves more money to buy them a week or two after launch for half the price.

I can't really take a position on this before seeing a single screen-shot, video, or whatever from the game though - that seems to me to be rather odd.

That said, I'm not particularly interested in Dragon Age 3 at the moment, but that has more to do with not being impressed by Dragon Age 2 than with Mass Effect 3, its contrived ending, and the lack of a meaningful response to the resulting controversy by BioWare.

I already thought that ME3 wouldn't be bad because it isn't the same team as DA2...

I'm a bit dissapointed at Bioware as a whole right now.

So no pre-order, and I'll read customer reviews before buying anything from them ever again.

DA2 has already answered this question. ME3 makes no difference for me
