You guys do realize that if they did have her come in to work on dlc she wouldn't be able to talk about it right? Remember Seth green said a while back that he wasn't going to be in me3? Look how that turned out. Not saying there is ending dlc, but just dlc in general she wont be able to say anything until they announce it.

When did he say he wasn't going to be in ME3?  Don't remember that, haha.  It's true though, they can't say anything.

I wonder if they're switching VAs. Bioware has a lovely habit of simply not contacting the VA. Which is really just good business. I mean, why would you show someone who voiced a main character any amount of respect? Just like what's the point in calling Adam Baldwin to tell him he's not going to be reprising his role in ME3? It's not like he's a well known actor with a TV and Film career.

Switching VAs for the main protagonist of the series? Also, one whom they have worked with for years across many games?

Unlikely.

I know, he played Jack Donaghy in a new made for TV movie...

Well, if a new ending was in the works, of course Hale would be on board. And even if new ending was indeed in the works, I doubt Hale would be involved at this point, and even if she was she wouldn't be at liberty to disclose anything.

They wouldn't dare, the uproar would make retake look like a puddle splash.

I don't really see the point in switching VA for DLC...If she was unavailable or something, maybe...still think they could work around that.

Jennifer Hale is probably the first VA they always call for every game.

Whether or not its an old quote its content is unsurprising. I seriously doubt that they've managed to get past the "oh god, we've said we'll do something...what are we actually going to do?" stage yet. Or at the very latest the planning stage.

Consequently none of the VAs will have been talked to yet.

True.

I'm taking this to strengthen both sides in different ways:
1) IDT is correct and no additional content is needed
2) This ending is the real ending.  BioWare screwed up ending so badly and they have no clue what they are going to do.

Seems like the only possible ways to take all of this (to me).  I can throw fuel to either fire...

I concur, so I'm taking this to be neutral.

The REAL telltale sign will be how PAX goes. Even if they don't actually have concrete details yet (they didn't promise to give them away at PAX after all, just "during April") they're going to have to say something or the backlash will start getting completely out of control.

Weird, cause Mark Meer said he was scheduled to do more voice work for DLC in an interview before this.

LOL. In the new DLC ending, all of the epilogues will feature MaleShep regardless of whether or not you were female. *cue hysteria*

How are they planning on clarifying the endings then?  I am not even arguing your point.  You are right, no new endings, just clarification, but how exactly would that work without the VAs?  A text screen?

Lol the former group will get bigger, not the latter. Bioware already discredited that amusing theory. :P

Ever occur to anybody that maybe Bioware planned this.....yeah sure I know everybody has so-called "proof" that they didn't....

But if they planned this, then maybe all the dialog is recorded already.....

VA's have NDA's....

And Jennifer Hale even said in an interview that she has never played and ME game all the way through....

There's
a possibility that she's not aware of the ending we got ....or if she
is aware, then she has a NDA to not speak about anything she may know
about what comes afterwards, and can only say that she is not scheduled
for anything as of yet ...

Just a thought....

If it was all a part of the plan....

I think we can divide those remaining on these forums into two camps:

1)Those that have given up on Bioware.

2)Those that are clinging to Indoc Theory.

Come this Friday, one of those groups is going to get quite a bit bigger. I really hope it's the latter.

There
are also a few who like the endings, I used to be one, but I don't
think that they have quite thought the endings through yet. Or are in
denial.

Fine observation. I'm one of the 2)s but it's also just another form of denial.

Bioware, no matter how much they lose or gain in two days, are evil Masterminds with their "Speculations from everyone".

@Threadtopic:
a) She DID answer to "new endings", as do most people on the internet use without providing some form of proper definition. In the days of DLCs one needs to provide an additional definition. See ME2's Arrival DLC for example.
B) It's safe to say Jennifer Hale has a much more tight schedule than Mark Meer. After all she holds the record for appearing a lot as a vioce actor.

Well, they want to yank the control of the story from the players to to developers right?

Artistic integrity!

Calm down people. Voice acting for a potential ending DLC would probably not even take more then a few hours. Bioware also uses a long range method of recording audio, meaning she wont even have to visit to record something.

In an interview before ME3's release she said that she had recorded many different death scenes for shepard, but in the two scenes that shepard can die there is no dialouge, so maybe there will be a dlc that was recorded before release.

@Dream Tension - sorry I didnt mean to offend. I just find the theory to be sort of funny, that's all.

@McFly616 - the endings paper from Mac Walters in the final hours app. It pretty much shows that he wasn't under the influence of indoctrination.

The team must still be at the drawing board then.

If they are, then I wish they'd just tell us. Silence hasn't exactly been effective at calming people down. Far better to let the fans talk nonstop with gleeful anticipation rather than with dissapointment and hatred.
