After more than 250,000 votes, guess they will call those votes a "VOCAL MINORITY"

Bank of America - Illegally forges documents for the sole purpose of kicking innocent people out of their homes so they can seize them and re-sell them for profit.

EA - Maybe makes developers rush games so they're a little less stellar than gamers would like.

EA wins by more than 20%

Gamer logic wins by more than 9000%

Sad............

In the end, it's just a poll on a website. If there were some serious repercussions for being the winner there, I'd be all for choosing BoA, but as it is, they'd probably just shrug it off. So yeah, BoA really does deserve all the hate it gets, but I'm glad EA was called out anyway.

Frankly, I know little about BofA. Therefore, for an online poll that really means nothing, I went for the "joke answer." EA was bound to win this considering it edges on our turf, so to speak. The Internet is akin to gamer's sibling and when something like this pops up, many attack en mass. This poll turned into "Who do we hate the most?" not which company is worse.

"In a statement to Kotaku, EA Senior Director of Corporate Communications John Reseburg said:

We're sure that British Petroleum, AIG, Philip Morris, and Halliburton are all relieved they weren't nominated this year. We're going to continue making award-winning games and services played by more than 300 million people worldwide."

In short, they don't care. They'll only care if something hits their bottom line.

If there is any lesson to be learned it would probably be this:
F*** with people's lives all you want, just don't ever f**** with their fantasies.

Or. Don't take away hope.

people need to remember EA didn't just get this for what they've done to bioware.. They got this because they are a cut-throat organization that buys out smaller business' for fear of competition, then leaches of its consumers until they see a return.

The last lines of the article are priceless.

"Traditionally, the Poo has been delivered on its little red pillow. But this year, we'll give EA three different color options for its pillow, though in the end it's still the same old Poo."

Sure they can. They got my 60$ for the game, but the way things look right now it does'nt seem they'll get a single penny more from me...

I have to say, I am truly sorry about the people who got burnt by BofA, but this an internet vote and right now the news story is EA, if BofA had been the overshadowing factor at this time I'm pretty sure they would have won.

This! Good irony! ^^6

Don't forget that they have greenlit Bioware doing clarification and closure DLC.  In other words it akin to polishing the turd on that cushion.  Its not going to make things look better, Its not what the fans want, its going to be messy.

Its an internet poll, and I doubt EA would care about the results. Maybe if it were a poll on the Times or Wall Street Journal, then EA might take notice or care a "little".

And consistently losing money in the process: http://en.wikipedia....Electronic_Arts

That is really the most ironic fact about all of this: EA isn't even that successful in this last years, even so they try to rip-off their costumers wherever they can.

Bank of America has a worse net effect on the country as a whole, but EA hits close to home to me and many other gamers. I think that's why they won. If they had voted 2 months early, I doubt EA would have made it to the Final Four.
