Really people?
One company directly contributed to tanking the US economy, and then got your tax dollars as a bail-out.
The other **** out DLC for video games.
If you voted for EA on this you are no longer entitled to have an opinion on anything.
Again, I have to say that you have to remove the outside consequences from the equation. You need to strictly evaluate business practices, and they are both very, very bad. If we also evaluated them based on the effect of the bad business practices them a lot of bad companies would forever skate by under the radar because, like EA, people would say "well they just sell X,Y,Z, but this company, this company, RAWR!!!!" when in reality, both companies have equally abhorrent practices and deserve to be called on them and highlighted as bad seeds.
That's not to make light of BofA and how they handled things at all. Their crappy business practices almost cost my family our house due to confusing customer service and an inability to get two customer service reps who could agree on anything or give accurate information. However, be honest, isn't EA's customer service just as bad?
In the end though, no one forced us to do business with either EA or BofA, and now that we've learned our lesson, we know better than to willingly do so in the future.
