I am wondering if they're worth it. if you have a ten percent higher chance of getting a n7 but the cost is nearly the cost of an entire second spectre pack aren't your odds higher from buying two spectre packs for an extra 20C more actually higher than buying the more expensive SP?

I've just bought my first one, got 5 mediggel, geth plasma shotgun, black widow, hornet (boo) and a thermal clip upgrade (also boo).

Personally, I'm much more interested in the at least 2 golds per pack. I need to level up my claymore!

The best I got from my first Premium Spectre pack was a +2 upgrade on my Predator. Really hoping I can get a Widow/Black Widow.

 I played for a good 5 hours just now. I managed to purchase two Premium Spectre packs and got nothing I really wanted. Upgrades for the Carnifex and Claymore. While those are helpful and all I still need like 5 classes. If I had all the characters I wouldn't care what I got, but do I ever get any of the characters I need? NOPE. I stooped to spending money on 3 more packs just to see if my luck will change and NADA still. Only characters I get are ones I already have.  
I need an Asari. Only species I still don't have. I've been trying for weeks with no luck. I thought these packs would at least help me get a Asari Vangaurd, but NOPE. Really annoying the crap out of me. 

I did grab a Geth Pulse Rifle which is cool. 

I still need a Quarian Infiltrator, Krogan SOldier, Turian Sentinel, Asari Vanguard and a Asari Adept. Some of these aren't that rare.... Why can I never get any of them? Curse you Random card system! CURSE YOU!!

These prem spectre packs are god awful. All they do is keep giving me damn XP packs when i need guns and weapon mods. I get more of the stuff i want from veteran packs >.<

5 packs, I got scorpion and finished up a lot of my weapons to 10.. Strange thing: anyone else get multilple Claymore's in the same pack? I got 2 with 2 claymore upgrades consecutively..

The last 7-8 packs I've bought, I've gotten absolutely nothing but character cards. I have every class and practically every appearance customization, and exactly 1 gold weapon at rank 10. Getting nothing but redundant cards for classes I have at max level with all customizations is really starting to get on my nerves.

I swear everyone else seems to get the worst luck..

I've bought about five of these in total, got a BW II aaand an Eagle in one, and got my Carnifex up to VIII, which is tasty. And I ran into zero issues unlocking all the characters.

Could've happened, but I have trouble believing you when I personally know 10 people who have bought more than 20 of them a piece only to get no more then 2 N7 weapons from the lot of them.

You do realise increased chance isn't the same thing as garunteed right? You're only making yourself look foolish if you want to argue the two are the same thing.

I have purchased near 20 of these packs or so. For me, they seem to be useful because up until this point, I had not yet gotten all of my gold weapons to X. I have gotten many gold weapons/upgrades out of these packs but still, not a single ultra-rare/N7. I have a buddy on the other hand who had already gotten all of his gold weapons to X and then started buying these packs. He has purchased 30 or more without getting one single weapon from it. As a matter of fact, I remember him saying that the only thing he has gotten out of them were the character/class upgrades. Several in each pack.

I've been disappointed with what I've pulled from my packs, but mostly because I have yet to pull an ultra-rare. on the other hand I now have all the characters, level 4 revenant and widow and a level 3 carnifax, so I'm cant complain that much

I highly doubt they are using a full random number generator. It seems to me that it's a psuedo-random generator.

"full random number generator" is not implementable by a computer program. And you can't tell apart between a pseudo random generator and a full random generator based on their trial results because they have really close distributions.
