Okay, I don't mean this in an extreme way. Personally, I will go out of my way to get back at Bioware for ruining 200 hours of my life and turning $300+ into a waste (games, books, comics, etc.). I don't like being ripped off.

I can't really do much but negative word of mouth will most likely prevent my friends from purchasing any future bioware titles, much less preordering (I really don't even have to do this because we all hate the ending but negative word of mouth still gets around)

I still might play future Bioware titles (they aren't all bad games) but I will probably one rent them or buy them used off of Craig's List.

Most people will probably just leave and forget about the game. I want to make sure that Bioware knows it messed up by taking a hit on revenues. Negative word of mouth and not buying new is about all I can do.

What will you do?

UPDATE: confirmed,Bioware is sticking by artistic integrity. Looks like Bioware is about to take a huge hit on profits since hardly anybody will buy any paid dlc. Let the war begin...

I play TOR and enjoy it. I enjoyed DA:O, DA:A, DA2 (I'm a horrible person, I know,) and look forward to DA3. My simple reaction to no changes in ME3's ending will be leaving ME3 dead in the water and refusing to buy anything else related to the game.

My revenge will be never buying anything with the EA logo on it again.

Revenge is an awfully strong word . . . I'll reconsider how I do business, if I do, business with Bioware in the future after DA2 and ME3's ending, but I don't know if I'd pull out the proverbial glove across the jaw and challenege them to a duel with flintlocks at sundown.

Revenge has seriously bad overtones. So no "revenge" here.

However I will do what I think is a consumer's civic duty by avoiding products that I view as flawed or inferior. I will also try to help my fellow consumers avoid such flawed or inferior products.

In the end this may have a negative economic impact on EA / BW but it's not done for revenge. If the consumer doesn't tell a company what is "good" by giving $ and what is "bad" by witholding $ then how will the company know what they should be doing.

Well of course my dear, here I have mister 47 waiting for me to finalize the payment and he'll go on hunting every EA/Bioware executive, I specificaly asked for the "injection of acid through the eye sockets" option on the contract menu...

no, because fix requires something to be broke. you can complete the game, therefore it is not broken, and does not require to be fixed

Just vote with your wallet. That's all. Don't buy games, DLC, and so on.
Also, if you're really mean, you can discourage your friends from buying EA games as well. A happy customer tells 2 people about being happy, unhappy customer tells 10. And most of us are really upset.

Revenge? Like sitting in front of your computer, frowning?

I canceled my TOR account, but it had nothing to do with ME3. TOR just didn´t do it for me.

"Revenge", if you want to call it that, will be me choosing to spend my money elsewhere.

Nothing more.

My reasonable reaction will be not to pay a cent for another EA game again. My revenge will be doing my best to convince everyone I know to do the same.

I will still play ToR, and I know at least one person in my house will want DA3 no matter what. As for future ME DLCs, I will probably buy them because other then the last 5 min it is an epic trilogy and I like to have the set complete.

So I guess my answer is no, I will not seek any sort of revenge. Even talking about if feels childish to me. Voting with your wallet is simply not buying. Coming onto the forums to proclaim over and over that you are voting with your wallet is IMO akin to telling someone that you are not talking to them, repeatedly.

My consumer confidence in Bioware will be damaged certainly.

Revenge is the wrong word though.

Revenge as in not buying a Bioware game, yeah sure. I have no interest in Dragon Age 3 anyway.

Yeah, "revenge" is not the best choice of words, but I already made sure all of my mates that didn't buy the game yet are not doing so until it hits the bargain bin - just by telling them the ending is utterly soul-crushing. I'm the one who got them into the series, so I guess they'll take my word on it. I'm not buying any ME3 DLC, and I will think twice before getting any EA title - probably boycott them completely (don't think Rockstar, Vigil, CDPR or Valve are in any way linked to EA?).

I will NEVER purchase anything with an EA logo on it again. Plain and simple. If they want to insult me with that ****** poor ending. I take my money elsewhere and enough do the same   that will be the end of them.    One can only hope.

Seek revenge? No, I will just seek a new series to care about.

No, I'll just move on. Another subjectively bad and rushed game. EA gutting their bought out competition once again. liquidating talent.
