Let's see, first I think I'll sue them for pain and suffering from the intense emotional trauma that this whole thing has caused, not to mention the fraud thing. Then, I'll go to the FTC, the BBB, the CIA, the CDC, and any other letters that I can think of. After that, I'll probably turn to drugs and alcohol to deal with the debilitating emotional scars that have resulted from this. Once I've hit rock bottom, I'll find religion, swear off technology altogether, shave my head, and hang out at airports handing out pamphlets.

Or, I'll get really upset, write a bunch of scathing forum posts, resolve to never ever ever buy another EA product ever again... unless they come out with something that I think looks good. I will certainly be very cautious about what I buy from them again.

The only "action" I plan on doing is simply never trust Bioware and never buy a product from them again. When you have so many people angry at you for something you did and your response to those people is "deal with it", you deserve every negative thing you get.

The only thing that will really get their attention is to hit them in the wallet. They can try to be artistic all they want, but thy don't get money from good reviews, they get it from sales. Don't buy their games or DLC, and if they start taking a loss they'll pay closer attention.

I truly don't understand everyone's constant bantering about the ending. Get over it. The game overall is a good game and the more you guys whine about it, the more gamers who just come and play the game want to pull their hair out. If you truly hate the game just because of the ending, then turn in the game into your local Gamestop, get Call of Duty or Halo or whatever, and move on with it. The ending wasn't the best I have seen in a game, but the game is still fun to me even after playing two playthroughs on campaign and my multiplayer level being 402 (Soon I will be 500 >w<). But I digress, just sell it back to Gamestop and get something else besides Mass Effect 3, simple as that.

I'd tell my friends to avoid all Bioware's games because the last two just failed (DA2 amd ME3)
Yep. They don't deserve our money in such case

I heard Skyrim is still good.... AND the Computer version is freely modded! Yeah for a company that likes customers!

Seeking revenge is really over the top. Sorry you don't like the ending, but going after the company who gave you experiences you love because you don't like the new output makes you look petty.

There is no action to be taken? I mean...everyone on here could refuse to buy their products. That's really the only thing that would truly affect them.

But the problem is, people often say they will do something and don't. How much you want to bet, a lot of people will still buy any DLC missions they put out, even if they don't address the ending properly.

I truly believe in the long run though, BioWare has shot themselves in the foot. The Mass Effect trilogy will forever be tainted by that ending. It will loom, and be what the story is known for. Look no further than the Matrix or LOST. And IMO the ending to ME3 was worse than both of those.

I also think as a company  moving forward, there is a certain pereception of how they design and handle their business that won't be the same again.

I can say for certain that although in the past I haven't always been truthful about what I will or wont purchase when I haven't been happy with something to do with a game, this time I am annoyed enough to mean it.

My SWTOR account will be canceled on Friday if I don't like what I hear. I've already put on hold purchasing the N7 Hoodie I was going to purchase for winter and I wont be changing my mind on that if the ending isn't addressed properly - if it is then I'll be buying.

Right now I have no interest in any future DLC. Heck we got the Prothean one for free with the collectors edition and I haven't even bothered to download it yet. Right now - not a happy fan and if it stays that way I wont be a fan at all.

I don't see much point in dissuading your friends from buying BioWare games, only to eventually get them yourself (used, borrowed or otherwise). Seems a little hypocritical. Also, I like to let other people make their own minds up.

Personally, I don't consider my time in the Mass Effect universe wasted. I enjoyed them all the way until ME3's finale. I adored the galaxy and the characters seen therein. I will play them again, because I can't stay away from any of them for long. Does the ending leave a putrid, acidic taste in my mouth that makes me want to willingly induce violent diarrhea? Sure, but the series means a lot to me.

That said, I won't look at BioWare with the same sense of solid confidence that they'll produce something meaningful again in the future. If this is the culminating finale to their biggest franchise and a cast of beloved characters and lore, than I don't see much point in investing myself in something of theirs again, since I can't be sure they'll rip my heart out and step on my brain for the sake of stirring up disjointed ideas that leave me disappointed and abandoned.

What can we do, besides boycott?

And even a boycott is problematic because now that they've been relegated to EA-development-house status, they lack the freedom to respond to a boycott the way they would've been able to if they'd remained independent.

I`m actually thinking to consult a lawyer here in holland to see if it`s possible to create a case against EA for false advertisements, if it`s doable, make it a public (or what ever you call it) lawsuit with other disatisfied consumers

I'll spread bad word of mouth. Without hesitation. I'll never buy any ME DLCs and IF and that's a big IF, I ever get another Bioware game, it will be months after its release, and I'll buy it used. They're not getting anymore of my money.

No, I'm not going to go back on this as soon as they put out a new game/DLC. I'm stubborn and I have been known to hold grudges for years.

Not gonna buy from Bioware again but please people dont let this turn ugly like making a lawsuit or something. Just take Bioware out of your life and deal with it.

Simply not buy anymore products from Bioware, and (though I barely do anyways): EA.

Also warn everyone I can about purchasing such products as well...

The inaction of me purchasing another product of theirs is sort of an action. Yes?

Should the ending not be fixed I will endeavor to warn my friends before they purchase a Bioware/Ea title citing this as a prime reason why they should not get any business.

I will also go onto say that ign and it's ilk can't be trusted (again citing this fiasco as a reason as to why)

I will then conclude that if you really wish to buy the game wait 2 weeks or so until it can be bought pre owned allowing them to enjoy (or not enjoy as the case may be) the game of their choice while at the same time not allowing any money to go EA or Bioware.

Seeing as how I'm one of a few who don't feel that they need to be fixed......I guess I won't be taking any action against them.

Thank you for giving us your opinion, but I was under the impression that this thread was created for the purposes of allowing people who DIDN'T like the endings to vent their feelings and allow them to comment on how they will react if they don't get a satisfactory conclusion to this fiasco...

Not for people who like the ending to troll those of us who don't.

Not the "action" that many are proposing. I will simply stop buying EA games altogether. They got enough of my $$$ and no more.

If you mean take "action" by boycotting everything that EA/BioWare comes up with, then yes, I would glady do that. BioWare/EA will not get their greedy, indolent hands on another red cent of my hard-earned cash. And my copy of ME3 will go back to Gamestop, ready for some poor unsuspecting chap to be gravely traumatized by that horrible piece of "art".
