Uh, you guys. This is 2009. You can connect your PC to any modern big screen TV. X360 controllers work on a PC. You can connect any amazing audio system to your PC, too. Nothing is stopping you from playing on your couch, unless your PC is too far away from it.

The only excuse for not gaming on the PC is that you're poor (very valid excuse, btw), or that you like splitscreen. Dragon Age does not have split screen.

Just keep in mind, graphics don't make the game, the story and game play does, it's what you remember about the game and what keeps you coming back for more.

This, I remember The legend of zelda: ocarina of time having REALLY good graphics, but when i did replay it 1 week ago I was STUNNED how polygonish the game is, and yet when i think back do i still think of smoth corners and really top notch graphics :)

Thank you Bioware, for showing these poor unfortunate D-bags what an awesome game is, and at the same time rubbing it in their pathetic faces that the PC is still the best platform to play ANY game on.

Sorry console gamers, the release of Street Fighter 4 for the PC puts the final nail in the coffin for every argument you have in the ol' PC vs Console debate.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

LOL... that's might be an argument back in the days but don't add up now.  I can easily use my 42" LCD TV as a monitor for my PC but I'm content with my 24" monitor which is big enough for me.  I also have a 360 controllers for my PC as well to play games like Resident Evil 5 etc...  Don't get me wrong, I have a XBOX 360 as well but I only like to get games that is exclusive for that machine like Soul Calibur 4, Fable 2 and upcoming Final Fantasy 13 but I usually like to play rpg on PC more than console.

Anyhow, Amazon has some new 120GB XBOX 360 drive for 134 and used one for as low as $63.  If more games do allow hd install for the 360 to improve gaming experience, I think it's a pretty good investment.  Either way, I'm sure Dragon Age will still be fun on any platforms.

Later!

Well, how big it is then? Is my 20 gb hard drive too small?

Oh please, this sounds like a load of crap. You're obviously a graphics ****, from what i've seen the 360 version looks FINE.

When did Bio say this? Do you have a link, I would like to read it.

It does appear as though the XB360 version suffers the most. GameSpot said the PS3 version had higher textures and looked better in general. So, I guess that claim that BioWare made about both the console version being identical was a lie.

All i got is a dutch website.
Unless you can read dutch it would be a bit pointless. xD (i forgot to check where they in their turn got their source from but ill look into it later)

That having said i did see an interesting review based on the ps3 version with some serious issues.
So now i really dont know what or which is better.

It's easy to install games to your Xbox, there's a tab where you can select  "install game". You don't the new Xbox update though but DAO will automatically update your Xbox to newer version

the gamespot review indicated that PS3 looked better but NEITHER version looked as good as Oblivion or Fallout 3. how is that possible?

Because they actually spent time on a story instead of just making shiny things.  Bioware is the Dostoevsky of RPG's, Oblivion is more like the Archie comic at the checkout.

worse thing about it ive noticed so far is the colors look faded and bleached out even on lowest brightness settings so far installing ti to the hard drive seems liek a good idea cause theres a lot of slow downs even after that to do this you press y when you have the game in the drive then choose install to hard drive also the eliminate the fear for rod because none of the parts that can break down are used when you play from hard drive

press y to install from hard drive it speeds up load time and rids you of some of the slow downs and the fear of rods (wont improve the graphics thats set in stone on the disk not even a patch could)

A HuGE LIE!!!!!!!! Im a lil upset , I mean the back grounds in oblivion, a what 3 to 4 yr old game , looks beeter then this does on the 360, but it is still fun to play, Im playing off the hard drive and it hasnt been slow , but ****it why they have to lie and make it so **** crappy looking,

THIS IS WHY THEY WOULD NOT AND REFUSED TO NOT SHOW 360 GAMEPLAY VIDEOS !
IN A WAY I LOVE THE GAME AND ANOTHER I FEEL SO CHEATED,
THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU PARTY UP WITH EA!!!!!

If i could afford to pay 1000.00 at once for a nice enough gameing PC to play this and other games i would but i cant, so I play these games on the 360
Im just a lil pissed off, maybe they can make some kind of update for 360 owners that have a hard drive that could hold more data and do a hotfix for this game, would be nice ;s

Oh well have fun killing monsters today and rest of the week, its still a awesome game , but man the trees, i cant get over how bad they look and it bums me out lol :(

I thought Oblivion was hideous. But haven't been able to play DA:O yet, so who knows, I might consider it ugly as well.

As a former PC gamer, I simply got tired of jumping through hoops to get new games to run at max potential, so I bought a PS3.

I really won't mind if the graphics are a little or a lot worse on the 360 compared to the PC and PS3. I'm really excited about this game and the graphics are at the very bottom of my concerns. If this were an 8-bit game but still had the story, gameplay features, and overall concept I would remain stoked to play this game.

I'll be picking up the 360 version in two hours- so maybe I'll chime in again if the graphics really are a game-breaker.

The PC gloating here is a nice, hilarious coverup for people who like to gloat about their disposable income.

And Street Fighter 4 on the PC will matter when SF4 is not a laughable game in terms of comp. Talk to me when there's an Guilty Gear Accent Core for PC.

Getting it for 360. I could afford a top gaming rig if I wanted to have one but I don't. I spent nearly 20 years of my life sitting in front of a computer for 9-12 hours (Occasionally much longer than that) a day and ended up half-crippled from the waist down for it. I'm done with them, thank you very much. I chucked my last PC, 21" monitor and the bigass desk out of the window. Good riddance. The extra space that opened up is much appreciated as well. Now I use a 5 year-old laptop for my Net surfing and some photography work. See nalgae, there are reasons other than poverty for not playing games on a PC, but I believe you can be excused for not having enough life experience to know better.
