On a side note, I don't get the "Shepard deserves better fans" signatures. If you're going that route, shouldn't it be "Bioware deserves better fans"? Just a thought. People aren't attacking Shep, after all.

I was looking for the "Bioware deserves better fans" ones but this is the one i found.

Aren't we all technically Shepard?

In which case, my mind exploded.

FANS DESERVE A BETTER SHEPARD.

(Than one that magically has to jump in a beam and dies to synthesize all life forcibly, or one that touches convenient Reaper-control handles, turns into a husk, and dies, or one that shoots a convenient Reaper-destruction panel, has it explode in his face, and dies..unless you played Multiplayer, then he might take half a breath for you somewhere somehow, assuming he survived a re-entry crash landing into Earth or managed not to explode with the Citadel).

I see, just wondered. I'm full throttle with the new ending crowd, just didn't get the signatures.

BioWare has one of the best fanbases in the world. We're the fans BioWare needs, the fans who are trying to save them from mediocrity.
Your sig is pretty much recognised forum wide as a troll tag, so have fun with that.

Every time I come to the BSN I open so many tabs to lurk in threads. Sooner or later the names of the threads get shortened often in funny ways. This thread: "Gamble & Hudson couple" terrifying. Anyway really hope the next few days is the 6th. I'm sure everyone I know is sick of me bringing up the ending and how disappointing I found it.

DAO complain : The combat is too slow and boring/the story is too cliche its just a bad clone of LotR.
DA2 answer : BUTTOM= AWSOME!!!!!11112/ 100 Fetch quests and lame "non-cliche" story.

Wait what??

When did Frodo have to bang a hot witch to save Middle Earth?

Come on that comparison, whoever brought it up is kinda unfair. Of course a story set in there are gonna wind up sharing some of the tropes... after all Tolkien pretty much invented all that stuff.

Dont argue with me i LOVE DAO, this is what alot of people complained about DAO story, too cliche and it felt like a bad clone of LotR.

I guess the same thing happened with harbringer. Some people decide to criticize it and bioware decided to scrap the entire idea, just like the first script of ME3.

No one complained dude. It was brilliant. DAII was pretty good too.

.......2 days.....

I am quite excited. I'm not really sure what to expect. I feel like BioWare is intelligent enough to know "clarification" is about as good as adding purple and pink color options to the ending--to the extent it will bring out a sh**storm to end all sh**storms.

But, I can't see them totally retconing.... maybe IT? Idk, we'll have to wait and see. :P

ALTERNATE ENDINGS.  No need to retcon - let the existing endings be the "action mode" endings or something.

All part of the "lots of speculations!" plan, I guess.

Unless it's solid confirmation about a revised ending (not clarified, REVISED, the current ending is lamer than FDR's legs), I'm not interested in anything else.

This entire PR thing that is going down with BioWare reminds me of that episode on the Office where Michael Scott tells Dwight to pick out a health care plan and does a really bad job. And so Michael tells them all that at the end of the day there will be a big surprise. And as Dwight continues to do a terrible job, Michael comes in with Ice Cream sandwiches and gives them to everyone, which in turn no one cares about and asks if that is his big surprise. He keeps telling them there is a big surprise waiting for them, and all the time he actually has no surprise. So then at the end of the day, after Dwight picked a very bad Health Care plan, they all convene around Michael to hear the surprise. They explicitly say they don't think there is one. Then Michael makes some drum noises, and then never says a word after that. They all walk away disappointed.

Ironically, that's how I felt at the end of ME3.

I'm not excited. What those guys think is exciting generally isn't for a lot of us, and I'm not getting my hopes up.

However, this Casey Hudson hate is pathetic and needs to stop. You may feel that he lied to you about ME3 - and to an extent you are correct. That is no reason to constantly call for him to be fired because he made a bad call on something. You stuff up once in your job, do you think you would deserve everyone you ever served saying you should be fired? No. He made some mistakes, I'm sure he knows that, but now is the time to see if he can learn from that. Saying 'Firing him would be the only exciting thing' really paints you in a childish light, and does nothing to help the cause. Complain about the ending, sure. Constantly call for Hudson to be fired, without actual concrete proof that it was him and him alone that stuffed up? No. You may not like what he's done, but get over it. Fight for a new ending, and don't make childish demands like that. It hurts your case, not helps it.

It could be something like announcing a Pyjack Poking Coop Mini-Game for all we know. Forgive my skepticism but every time I hear something from them I got excited. Then later someone else from the company drops his drawers and craps all up in my cheerios. They announce stuff sure. Just loads of teasing and let down stuff lately. It is very hard to be excited.
