On a side note, I don't get the "Shepard deserves better fans" signatures. If you're going that route, shouldn't it be "Bioware deserves better fans"? Just a thought. People aren't attacking Shep, after all.

I was looking for the "Bioware deserves better fans" ones but this is the one i found.

BioWare has one of the best fanbases in the world. We're the fans BioWare needs, the fans who are trying to save them from mediocrity.

In your own world and in your own mind.

Fans are not blind followers. I am very sure that if Justin Bieber was involved in a sex scandal involving underaged animals, most of his fans would probably hate him.

Fans need a reason to be fans. Which BioWare always delivered, until...

If BioWare don't have some concrete info to share tomorrow... well, that would be too much. There's a limit to everyone's patience. Enough's enough.

I think you said it there. You have been fans because Bioware always delivered. That's no different than any other customer out there. What makes a fan different from a pragmatic customer? If there is no difference, then the word fan shouldn't exist but it does. I would expect a fan to have at least a more forgiving attitude towards the devs as the game is still 90% fantastic. Poor analogy there btw, but a funny one.

If being a fan means you have to exist everything said company creates as gold, then, yeah, I guess most of us aren't fans.

But anyone with common sense would recognise to blindly accept anything is stupid.

I'm not saying you're stupid if you like the ending, but it is stupid if you blindly accept things.

I don't expect fans to view a 1/10 game as 10/10.  I expect a fan to view a 8/10 game as 9/10 or a 5/10 game as 6/10. What many people are saying is that the ending ruins the entire game and trilogy. Many are saying that a 2/5 score is just about right. I don't expect fans to be completely blinkered, just, I don't know, defend the game a little more, recognise the good along with the bad, rather than keep attacking it (and the devs too)?

Ah, okay. This makes sense. I admit that as a Star Wars fan, I view Star Wars products as better than they actually are. Likely the same with BioWare games.

I think it's more to do with the fact that they did like the first 90% of the game (although I take qualms with the auto-dialogue) and then felt utterly crushed by the last 10%. Most people are being so negative in the hope it will be changed.

Attacking the devs is just wrong IMO and shouldn't be done unless the devs commit actual crimes, like murder or something. Making a bad ending isn't something to attack anyone over.

Or imagine if Chris Brown was guilty of domestic violence that put his girlfriend in hospital, but his fans not only stuck with him, but attacked people who criticised him for it and said that they'd let him beat them up, replete with less-than-threes? That would be a sick and twisted world....

Wait, what? No ****ing way....

Oh.  :(

Actually that could work, 10-15 hours of more gameplay, IT was right, you wake upp on earth and gotta fight em off conventionally, then move on to liberate the other homeworlds. Awesum.

Not going to be buying any of the DLC if the Ending isn't Tolerable at the least, even if Aria turns out to be a DLC character or if you get to take back Omega.

In anycase any future DLC will probably be Multiplayer crap anyway. LOL like I play Mass Effect for Gears of War Horde mode.

If you look at the tweets in the last few days, the ending is actually okay'ish. They just gotta show it to us :)

The kid and the ABC part is still in though, but judging by the tweets, the universe and series can live on thankfully.

SPOILER*
Tweets from bioware mentioned Shepard being able to reunite with the crew if you have enough EMS and choose the "right" ending.
Also Joker and the crew wont starve
And finally, they mention a lot of reaper tech is around that can/will be used to create new Mass Relays.
