May-2011. Things change during development process, its not a lie they just changed the plot.

The game was, at that time, scheduled to be released in Nov/Dec. 2011. If they didn't even have the basic plot at that time, then lol. The Crucible is an off-button. Also, if they failed to ever clarify that this statement was no longer true, it's pretty much a lie.

The ending does have racist undertones...

The only way to save the world is by isolating different races from each other, we're only supposed to care that humanity survived, and you can't refute the assertion that synthetic organisms will kill all organics, even though Geth and Quarians were reenacting scenes from **** Germany earlier in the story, with the Geth playing the role of Jews...

I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt that that wasn't a racial slur that got edited, though its the only thing I can think of that would fit the post.

And just address the other post. 

The Geth/Quarians conflict is NOTHING like the Jews/****s "conflict." The Jews didn't kill a bunch of ****s in self-defense, for one.

For another they weren't created by the ****s.

Come on people, do we really have to sink to this level?

The LAST time i read the devs talking about the endings, they specificaly sated that the game had 6 endings but they would variations of the 3 main endings, so there was no lie to me. I clearly remember reading this on the last week before release. That was another thing they changed during developement and i dont believe they lied about it.

If you could PLEASE send me a link to this? That would be awesome, and would remove a lot of the problems with it right there.

It's a little different though, to cut down on the number of endings you had, and to, apparently, completely revamp the plot six months before release. The entire idea of the Crucible wasn't part of the discussion back in May, or Casey's statement is a lie. That's an odd time to add in pretty much THE major plot point of the game.

They were discussing that the clarified ending with have The Doctor appearing and saving the day. Further games in the ME universe are actually The Doctor and Shepard having wacky sci-fi hinjinks throughout time and the galaxy.
