Hey when I try to press the screen down button I don't realy know what it's called the one between ctrl and alt that makes the screen go down, well it does not work in ME. I need to do this to look at the wikia as I am exploring and doing uqests etc. So is there any way to make this work? Sometimes the screen goes down but ME stops responding and I have to restart it.

Instead of the Windows/Start key, try holding the Alt key and tapping the Tab key to cycle through your open programs.

nice I been using windows since 95 and I did not know this, thank you for the trick.

There was no "Windows Key" on any keyboard in 1995, or with the W95 OS that I can recall. Meanwhile, a very large percentage of games are very fixated on system "Focus" and can easily go into paralysis when minimized suddenly.

Instead, "pause" the game in some manner. The ESC key is the perfect way, after which the game is easy to minimize and equally easy to restore.

yea of course there was no windows key, it's just that I didn't know about the tab-alt thingie.

Yea I tried pausing the game with esc but still after the screen goes down, even with escape when I try to bring it back it just plays music and the screen is black so still does not work.

I've seen others whose OS install was also out of whack (a reinstall is pending for you as more things like this accumulate), who used the Task Manager for restarting these EA games. Search the archives. Those threads are still available.
