From the article: "Hale revealed that she was disappointed by the ending, impressed by the reactions from fans, and hopeful-- though not necessarily optimistic--that Bioware and EA will ever release a new ending."

That's not all she said, but I found that interesting.

She says she hasn't been approached to voice any additional lines for the ending. It doesn't look good folks, especially for the Indoc theory.

If they do plan anything more than just 'clarification' I would expect it's gonna take time...

And seriously, why does everyone keep pushing Indoc as gospel? It was just shoddy, rushed and lazy script writing to get the game out on the shelves, until BioWare say otherwise...

She doesn't prefer to live in denial about the endings. She said she prefers not to believe that Mass Effect is over, she was obviously very passionate about it and it was a large part of her career.

If the "Indoctrination Theory" is true then of course she wouldn't be approached to voice more lines. They would have done all of that already and waited to release it as downloadable-content.

wow another IT hater

well if the ending is only half on the disc, then its quite (more than likely) that whole ending has already been done and is only being held back so that enough people will get to the end of the game without the almighty internet spoiling it for them.

Oh and before anyone starts ranting/whineing that holding back part of the end and possiblely charging for it is wrong and terrible. May i remind you that this is how the world of games works now and b****ing about it wont change anything, Especially since many of those moaning about it will still buy the dlc anyway.

because they are hypocrites. (I am not a hypocrite and will happily pay for more content to be added to the masterpiece that is mass effect 3....also Indoc theory is brilliant.)

I incidentally just played a bit with Meer's Shepard (setting up a Tali romance , and Hale is just so much better overall, especially in ME2.

The problem is they aren't even setting anything in motion that would require the voice actors for Shep.

This. Also VAs won't be contacted until they have something concrete planned. I think Mark Meer said he was booked for DLC in the future, obviously Jennifer Hale will be too.

Actually, there is more than enough dialog already in the game to make the IT scenario.

Ever watch the movie "Usual Suspects"? You never actually are told who the Kaiser really is... but they just run a bunch of lines from the movie over again that suddenly puts it all into perspective.

How so? sure the IT isn't carved in stone or anything, but if they did plan it all along the VA recordings would most likely been have done already.

That really doesn't match what she said. I try to remain optimistic that somewhere along the line there was a communication error or that is is being deliberately obtuse (after all there was an ending which hinted shepard was alive despite her saying the opposite) but I'm struggling to maintain belief.

Only if the indoc theory is proven to be false.  (and i said theory before any ranters start saying that i am stating it as fact.)
