We can only hope.

And yet that didn't answer the question. They could still have the ending already recorded and have no need to contact Hale for further VA. IT being true or not is irrelevant to them already having the lines recorded. But you either didn't understand the question or you tried to evade it.Mcfly616 wrote...

Where does this idea come from that all the lines would have already been recorded if IT is true? That same logic could be applied if isn't.Mcfly616 wrote...

If the "Indoctrination Theory" is true then of course she wouldn't be approached to voice more lines. They would have done all of that already and waited to release it as downloadable-content.
this is priceless. the level of denial required is magnificent.
Actually...no....he's correct....if IT was planned all along then her lines would be recorded already....and considering she's admitted to never finishing an ME game, and that she has a NDA, this article says nothing of importance...This topic has already been discussed in another thread.
Your level of ignorance is magnificent
Because if IT is true....then Bioware planned it....if its not true, then it was never intended.
If they planned it, then they would already have the ones recorded.
If they didn't plan it...then the IT was an educated guess that turned out to be false....
Part of the core points of IT is that Bioware intended it, hence all the so-called "evidence" the believers say is intentionally put in the game....
I don't know if its true.....and neither do you.....or anybody else for that matter....
We won't know until Bioware officially comments....and they haven't yet.....their Twitter won't comment on IT when they are asked about it....they just say "more news in April"
This will all be over soon....either way
We're assuming they planned IT all along, and didn't want to let too much time pass before releasing it.Caz Tirin wrote...

She is not in denial over the endings then, as the title states.

Not looking good for Bioware at this point if you ask me. They are finding out what being owned by EA can do to a company. Too bad for them because if no ending changes happen I'm out as a customer. And I've been a big fan from the original Baldur's Gate series all the way through the last 15 years or so.
Sad to see a company perish like this but they deserve it from their crapfest of an ending.
just out of curioisty but what does ea have to do with walters and hudson being the final 2 guys to green light the ending?
and no im not trying to bicker but its been proven hudson and walters had the final say

She was saying she prefers to live in denial in jest, not that she actually is in denial, LOL
Sadly, denial is all that is left... :/wheelierdan wrote...

Interesting tidbit that seems to have been overlooked:
"Hale revealed that she was disappointed by the ending, impressed by the reactions from fans, and hopeful-- though not necessarily optimistic--that Bioware and EA will ever release a new ending."
Taken from the article. Discuss.

I don't get all the Jennifer Hale/Femshep love. There's something I can;t put my finger on about her voice and they way she delivers lines in the games that puts me off. She did a good job though, I agree, but there's something at the back of my mind that doesn't enjoy it.

You should change your thread title. It gives the wrong interpretation of her comments. She's just stating she doesn't want to see Shepard's story come to an end because she's so attached to Shepard, she's not saying she's in denial over the current ending.

I don't know if this has been posted already, but:

She says she hasn't been approached to voice any additional lines for the ending. It doesn't look good folks, especially for the Indoc theory.
Title edited; originally said "endings."

So encouraging to see that people are willing to twist what the VAs say to fit their views.
Jennifer Hale did not say she is in denial about the ending.
She said she was in denial over the "Mass Effect adventure being over."
Nothing to do with the ending.

Article says...
"I have mixed feelings," she told Edge. "I really respect the team and what they did and how hard they worked. And endings are hard! They're cutting new ground; the players are so involved in this game that to come up with an ending to something everyone's got their hand in is a huge challenge. So maybe it's going to take a little work to get everything sorted in a way that's going to make everybody happy."
