 Here it is: your chance to declare and explain to the world which two characters in the Mass Effect Universe constitute your A Team, who it was you knew you could turn to when the sh!t got real. 

To clarify, you can choose any two squaddies from across all three games, even if they weren't available as squadmates together in the same game. So, if if you feel Jack and Wrex were the galaxy's most unbeatable duo, sound off. If you think it's Jacob and Vega.... well, that's cool too.

For me, it's all about Ashley and Garrus. With Ash on her revenant, mowing down husks, and Garrus' sniper softly singing sweet lullabies to cerberus marauders, I was untouchable. They were with me when I took down Sovereign/Saren, and they were with me for the final charge to the beam. Thane, may his soul find peace, filled in for Ash at the human reaper, but it wasn't the same.

Why they felt the need to jump ship with Joker afterwards, given the fierce bonds of trust we had forged in the heat of battle is confusing, but that is beside the point and not the topic of this thread. Let the melee begin!

Wrex and Garrus, hands down. It was great having them together again, even if only briefly. They have great banter together and the group just has great chemistry with a Paragon Shepard IMO. You got a renegade, a paragon, and a guy caught in between.

Thane and the Prothian DL character (who's name escapes me atm). My import was already level 30, hit peek condition before the end that I did not finish. Thane was insane good at sniper and a biotic, prothean with Vengeance biotic was nuts. My soldier Shep was fine as it was with Prothian and Liara...Thane would have made it wonderful. I have a thing for Aliens. Oh well.

Garrus and Miranda. The moment on Haestrom when the two of them took down all the Geth recon drones in a mock contest was the moment I knew I would never find a better team.

Ahhhh too hard for just 2 lol,can't we have all? But Liara definitely since she's always my LI and I guess either Garrus or Tali,Wrex would also be awesome and Miranda's just damn fine to look at,just can't decide.

The two who faced down Saren with me. The two who came with me on a suicide mission and helped me take down a Human Reaper. The two who have been with me the whole way through, and been my main team since day 1. The two who... abandoned me at the final battle and ended up on a jungle planet with Joker.

Oh well. Picking them anyways.
