It doesn't matter either way dude. Core fans are displeased and Bioware should respond since they are a company that tries to create experiences for those fans.

Just ignore the crazyness, conspiracy theories and haters. They are the minority. The people with legitimate complaints though, they should be listened to.

Just because we're the only ones on the internet doesn't mean we're the only ones who dislike the endings.

You know the proportion of people who complain is on average is about 5 percent so scale that up and you get 1.3 million or 60%.

Maybe your average joe who never played ME1 likes the endings... but here, the vast majority do not.

Truth be told, there is no way to know what is the true majority, without actual sampling. And even then. Honestly, more often than not, people do not voice their complaints about products. Your general consumer, generally accepts thing as is. But it's a mistake to assume that if they don't voice their complaints that = to them being happy with it.

So OP, I would throw that back at you.

This said, it's pretty obvious the core fan base (the hardcore fans) overall do not like the ending. And that's big enough, even if they aren't the majority. Because, they are the loyal fans that are willing to go into a new IP blindly. That are more likely to buy DLC and other products, and follow the company game to game. And when THEY do not trust BioWare, or feel they were lied to, that's important.

Besides, Bioware has been heavily marketing the series towards more casual players. The people who are angry are the core fans, the ones who have been playing the game for the story and the characters. Sure, a lot of people might just not care enough to get involved, but that doesn't change anything
