Lmao just look at how the sales dropped now. Amazon UK has refused to sell it. You can get ME3 for $30 now.

Do everyone a favor.... stfu

Lol, these things are always funny. Surveyed all 2+ million then? The 'Vocal Minority' is just the small loud part of a larger group- the rest most likely display apathy or disinterest regarding the endings, oh that must be EXACTLY the kind of customer EA wants though...

Did I win? I can make cool charts too

Also, you're claiming that everyone else that isnt on the BSN / Facebook group likes the endings.

Op's logic:

I started a poll on how people feel about genocide, but only 4 people voted against it! Since there are 6 billion people on the planet, that means only 4 people in the whole world hate genocide! Everyone else loves it, let's start killing!

If we aren't the majority then I guess this almost relates to the whole deal with previous President Nixon and the whole "silent majority" thing about the war in Vietnam. Only for us, it's wanting a better ending to a game versus those who are sitting around doing nothing about it even though they know it's terrible.

Another one of these threads.

As has been established before: saying that everyone who HASN'T spoken out against the endings does NOT mean that they all are in FAVOR of the ending.

Silent majority = / = loved the endings. We don't know what they think because they're silent.

If that entire silent majority would speak up in favor of the endings, then OP would have a legitimate argument. As it is it holds no water.

So, I ****ing hate the ending, I liked Mass Effect 3 facebook page as well

I didn't like Retake Mass Effect (because Hell like I'm gonna like that kind of a video game page while I'm looking for a corporate job). And hell, I want Retake Mass Effect to be succesfull. So you also have to consider this kind of support, which you clearly do not.

Either way, redo your stats. Being heavily disastified with the the ending does NOT equal Liking Retake Mass Effect Facebook page.

So what I'm saying : OP you suck at stats

Nope, for the 30th time, I never made that claim. I simply said that people who aren't in the retake ME3 group, are not part of the retake ME3 movement.

Also I made another chart, since you guys are so insistant that I am not being fair. This one only compares fans of ME3 on facebook, or fans of Retake ME3 on facebook.

800,000 vs 60,000 for the lazy people. Which amounts to 7.5% still a substantial minority. There are people that have facebook and are active in the community (as demonstrated by thier membership to either group) also I think this segment of the population are more likely to express thier views than "average joe" so that whole 1=25 doesn't really do anything for me here.

Of course i realize some people who "like" ME3 also "like" retake, and some people don't like the ending but don't "like" retake. I am aware of this. But I can only measure what I see. As always I don't make assumptions.

/doublefacepalm. That is so far from scientific it makes art look precise. Anecdotally I can tell you a lot of fans are still finishing the game and anecdotally I can also say very few like the ending as-is. They are not all a part or Retake. I am not a member of Retake on Facebook AND I am on the Mass Effect fan page. Your post is an example of why there are "lies, da*n lies, and statistics".

Wow stop saying I am bad at stats. Talk about trolling, I am the one getting trolled by all you mathamagicians telling me my math is wrong O_O

Telling me I am missing key numbers which nobody can ever get. I am not performing any number trickery people. I clearly posted where I got the numbers. I don't make any claims about the 97% liking the ending (yes I make the implication). I am simply saying that is how many people are NOT part of the retake mass effect movement.

If you ARE part of the movement, but have not JOINED the movement (by joining a group and showing support) then obviously I cannot count you.

Again, you fail at statistics.

Don't talk about things you know nothing about.

That 800,000 number vs. 60,000 is completely irrelevant to your point, considering a sample size of 60,000 from a population of 800,00 is excessive. Actually, a sample size that large from a population that size lends credence to the claim that the majority of people hated the ending. Learn how statistics work before posting on your blog about them. I think high schools even teach statistics now.

Man, that's some serious stat crunching.

For an encore perhaps you should look at the weekly percentage drops and compare them to that mega smash Dragon Age II. What you find may astonish you.

Your argument in that middle paragraph basically consists of "I don't really know what I'm talking about, and I don't have the proper numbers to be saying anything, but listen to me anyway".

I know I'm a hypocrite for saying this but...

Why are you guys all posting in this thread? It's clearly illogical and stupid. By posting and continuing to bump it, it's just giving attention to something that doesn't deserve it.

Oops, guess I just did the same thing.

So from a sample set of only facebook users, that have displayed activity in the community and demonstrated that they are not above "liking" the things they like.

60,000 / 800.000 is the majority because I do not understand stats?
