Reporting this in today.

I played MP and maxed out my Galaxy at War readiness level to 100%. 
I then decided to get into the campaign and play a couple of missions and what not.
After leaving the campaign and going back to the main menu I see that my Galaxy at War Readiness has dropped to 99%.

I've also noticed this after taking a break from the game and then coming back to see my Readiness dropped to 98%.

Noticing this only happening today.

I thought that it drops every few hours (while not playing MP), especially when you reach 100%

I'm on PC, but I find this pretty damn annoying too.

I don't want to constantly play MP just to secure a good ending.
They just couldn't make it anymore obvious how much they're forcing us to play the boring MP mode.

I've noticed it dropped if I didn't play MP for a day or two. But never within a day or a couple of hours roughly less then 8 from each playthrough.

I honestly feel the drop should not occur unless you don't play within a certain amount of days. We all have lives outside. We play other games beside theirs. Multiplayer will stop being fun if it becomes a chore. I've enjoyed it thus far but it really is treading close to becoming a chore.

Steps to a good ending (assuming there'll be one)
1: download the extended cut free DLC when it comes out
2: max out galactic readiness
3: start the point of no return (this fixes your EMS, so even if you lose 50% GR before finishing the game...)
4: ???
5: profit

Play the multi up to 100%, then stay logged out of live while playing the single player. Readiness will remain at 100% as long as you don't log back in to Live/connect to EA..
