It's so simple, but extremely powerful! Very moving, and, as you say, "cathartic." Thank you! I never thought a "DA:O" style ending could work this well!!!

Very nicely done, it helps give closure to the events that happened. Now if Bioware could combine something like this with some exposition on the history of the reapers I know I'd feel a lot more satisfied by the ending.

It's my "head canon" until the DLC comes out and maybe after if the DLC doesn't work out.

Wow, that was great. Something like that, but in a cinematic form, is what I think the Extended Cut DLC should be. It doesn't change their endings, but gives us the closure we would want.

Thanks for giving me some hope.

I want to argue with the Star-Kid, I don't believe him and not having the option to argue with him is disapointing.   Plus, I'm not a fan of any of the three options but Siduri does make the most of them to the point that I could even like Control.

I finally worked up the nerve to see my slides... And though my inner Shep growled at Feron emailing her Liara...

Blue Babies! Or at least the start of them. Thanks so much for making those

Very well done. I find it to be a very fun activity to do when I'm bored. I hope that you can add the Genophage Cure Arc as well at a later date.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!

FINALLY CLOSURE!

And yeah it's not a completely happy sappy Star Wars Medal ending. EA please take notes.

It's cathartic.

If nothing else. It gives me the closure I've been seeking.

Yet how can I ever accept these endings? I can't really, but if I must, I would like to accept your epilogue.

Is it ok to be honest and say that those extra endings also left me broken hearted and with an even bigger empty pit in my stomach. I again got no closure to my story and the relationships that mattered most to my Shepard. My Shepard had a LI, her name is Samara. She is unlisted, in fact the fate of her continues to leave me even more empty.

My Shepard spent his last night before hitting Cerberus alone in his undies wondering what Samara was doing, was she too alone in her undies thinking of him?

Next we go from that to my best friends fates I knew nothing about, none were squad mates in ME3, but they were my best friends their names were as Fallows,

Wrex he was a brother to me as I was to him. Saw him last on earth, In fact speaking of Wrex, how come there was no quistion about the Genophage outcome? But ya had one for the quarian/geth thing.

Jack's fate unknown last I talked to her was on earth.

Grunt alive last talked with on earth,

Kirrahee alive, last seen on Sir'Keshe
Bailey status unknown last seen on Citadel, dudes a bad@ss he best be alive.

The only ME3 squad mates fate I cared much about was Garrus,Ashley, Vega, and Tali,

Lastly I'm still broken hearted and left empty over Samara, don't make me spend another night alone in my undies thinking about her, and wondering if she's in her undies thinking about me too.

I'm sorry for your loss and I hope you can hold out for the DLC or use these epilogues as a template for your own "head canon".   I'm not usually one for "head canon" but with BW leaving us next-to-nothing, I've learned to see these epilogues as such.  I too would like to know the fate of my extended crew and friends, but really, I want it direct from BW as canon.

Don't get me wrong, Siduri did a wonderful job helping me and many others find a temporary-acceptance of the endings.  I'm sorry you could not find similar comfort.

My head-canon:

Wrex & Grunt - (Day 14)  Are still on Earth coordinating with the surviving Krogan in relief efforts looking for survivors and helping deliver supplies to shelters.  The Krogans are able remove the heavy debris faster than waiting on the scarce heavy equipment.  A working perimeter holo-cam caught Wrex playing with a group of human children.   Looking a little chagrined, Wrex stated, "I need the practice for when I get back home to Bakara, she should be starting to show by now.  Besides, this one has spunk, just like Shepard!"

(Day 14) Jack and her squad of adepts took losses in the final battle, Jack and Rodriguez both sustained severe trauma while defending a combat-med center from multiple Brutes and Banshees.  Their efforts saved dozens in a comat medic zone.  They are currently recovering and Jack is reportedly "F***ing pissed-off" the scars have ruined her favorite tattoos.

Kirrahee - His STG team was in east London helping evacuate hundreds from a civilian shelter from advancing Reaper forces.  He was last heard on comms in the middle of a firefight, "All civilians are out.  Repeat, all civilians are out.  Tell them... Tell them we held the line"   Soon after the area was completely swarmed by Reaper forces when a large gas line explosion cut off the Reaper forces from the retreating civilians. Kirrahee and his STG team saved hundres of lives in their final heroic act.

Bailey - Helped evacuate the Council and many civilians in the embassy wing when the Reapers attacked.  Until internal comms were totally cut off, He continued to coordinate with C-Sec officers throughout the citadel to defend other shelters.  (If you upgrade C-Sec on side missions) Bailey later stated in a post-war interview, "Saving as many lives as we did was because of Shepard.  The upgrades he gave us after the Cerberus attack helped us save lives  and keep the shelters safe.  I don't know how many we would have lost without his help."

I like the epilogue slides, but there are two problems

First the pictures don't show for me, I get a red X

And secondly, and this is a big-un, it's suffering from a severe lack of krogan. I think that the questions at the start should include stuff like 'Is Wrex/Wreav leader?', 'Did Eve survive the release of the cure?', 'Did you sabotage the genophage cure?', 'Did you succeed in disarming the bomb on Tuchanka?' (If Eve was alive when the genophage was cured, she'll be in the area affected by the bomb if it goes off and will die as a result)

The genophage cure was a huge part of ME3, I feel it should a part of the epilogue slides.

You know its sad when fans can do a better job then the writters and acutally stick to how Mass effect works

I get that impression here and there in the games, and it's no wonder it happens occasionally, since fans have no deadline. But I'd never have thought it would affect the ending of ME3.

BTW has anyone brought this thread to the ME3 team's attention? They could do worse than to take inspiration from this, though of course we'd want more from them than text, at least for the main events.

There's no reason I shouldn't remember THIS ending rather than the one provided by BW. Actually, it's easily more memorable. So thanks for working on it!

This was great. I had thought that if Bioware expanded on the current endings (before extended cut was announced) that it would be cool if after Shepard recovered (provided he survived) that he lead a team made up of squad mates available in ME1 and ME2 that weren't available in ME3 on a rescue mission to find the Normandy. Obviously there are a lot of things that would have to be taken into account, but through this epilogue scenario, that's how I'm imagining this happened.

Shepard recruited Miranda, Jack, Wrex, Jacob, Zaeed, Kasumi, Samara, and Grunt or any sort of combination of the group to go and find the ship and it's potential survivors that they had served on before.
