This is epic! A few minor details:

Kahlee Sanders gave my eulogy, despite having never met me...and being implied to be dead, because I didn't get to the Grissom Academy in time.

Also, my Feron was dead because I didn't download Shadow Broker. Liara says Feron died when she overthrew the broker with mercs or whatever.

Anyhow, amazing job! Some recommendations might be getting to specify who you saw on Gilligan's Planet (to say whether the Javik slide should cue), and who died in ME1/ME2/ME3 so there could be little epilogues about the other survivors (Jacob and his family, Jack and her students, whatever)

But really, this is REALLY well done!

I fixed the Liara bug, thanks everyone for your help on that!

There was like half a minute there where the script got broken while I was updating it. Those of you who weren't able to get your slides probably hit the site during that time. It's working again now.

I just saw the correct letter for Liara. Thanks for fixing it!

Nice... you know, if BioWare just made a video similar to this I'd be happy. Even if the catalyst made no sense, and neither did anything else.

I hate to be the downer here, but with the decisions I made that ending sucked. It was WAY to over the top positive. No one died, everybody was okay

That's impossible...
Either Shepard dies or Joker & EDI die...

He doesn't know what the **** he's talking about. Just ignore him.

Yeah Joker and EDI died on mine okay, dont have to be a *** about it.  I just felt no remmorse for them.  It was still to happy go lucky for me.  I was hoping the real ending would be the reapers winning and the cycle just continues honestly.

Bioware wouldn't let us have a reapers win ending if you recall correctly, these epilogues are clearly desiqned to work within the parameters established by the original ending. You want a less happy epilogue, finish with a lower EMS. The OP isn't making anyone new endings, just adding epilogues.

Oh, good catches, both. This is exactly the kind of thing I was hoping other fans would point out.

I had a hard time coming up with a character who "worked" as the provisional human councillor -- someone we know, who's definitely alive, and preferably generally sympathetic to Shepard. So I might let the Kahlee thing stand unless someone can come up with a better candidate for the job. (We're not actually TOLD she dies, right? it's just implied?)

The Feron thing I'll have to change. Basically I need to figure out a way to solve these inconsistencies without having the web form balloon to dozens of questions about every detail of your game, which I think would be unwieldy and off-putting.

Good job!

As bad as I think the StarChild is, a lot of the problems could be forgiven if BioWare had just provided some sense of closure. Also, post this on the Hold the Line forums if you haven't already. There's two other ending generators of which I am aware (one of which I made, though I think yours is more satisfying).

I think it's heavily implied.  I know Traynor says that everyone who was at Grissham must be dead.  And I think there's a small bit of dialogue with Anderson about it - but for the life of me I can't remember what he says.

Edit:  And Hacket might be a good choice.  Or if you chose not to recruit the VS, but didn't kill them at the stand-off, it might be cool to give them the position...

It's a good effort, I enjoyed it. =) If anything it was nice to at least have an alternative.

Which is more than I can say for the actual game.

You're right, Kahlee is only implied to die. In fact, Traynor says it's possible that whoever was there might have escaped. In my playthrough, I did find that Jack had been turned into a banshee or something, but I never did find Kahlee. Admiral Hackett seems like an obvious choice who is alive, has humanity's respect, and is fond of Shepard.

The rest was perfect. With only 2200 as my EMS, I WANTED a pyrric victory. EDI dead, Joker dies a year later, buried together. Garrus dies, but even as he's starving to death, he's hunting for food that he can't even eat, so the rest of the survivors will be safe. James becomes a father, but loses a baby. Ashley has my baby, Terra. They're stuck on the planet for 23 years, but most of them DO live long enough to be rescued again. Great, great ending. Just the right mixture of happy and sad. Thank you!

Think it'd actually be cool for someone to pool the different resources from all the generators.  Make like an ultimate fan-ending generator.  :D

Wow...that actually makes a lot of sense. But quick question, what happened to the other species? Did they ever make it back home?

And thank you, everyone, for your feedback. I'm really glad so many people are liking it.

To avoid that, ask a small set of questions on a first page, then ask questions based on answers to those questions.

For example, "Did you import an ME2 save?" allows for significant changes in the questions that you need to ask, depending on the answer.

I think that the OP's is the best of the three, but I'll show you two others.  Both are on Hold the Line, so I'll contact the site administrators there about putting them all together.

Here's mine: http://www.Writing.C...ding-Generator/

Here's the other one of which I am aware: http://collegeage.wordpress.com/

I love this... though I still think the Starchild lied about the destruction of synthetics with the destroy ending.

Intra-galactic travel is eventually restored in some fashion in all the endings, so, yes. How long it takes depends on which ending branch you choose (because it affects how much technology gets destroyed), and to some degree on your EMS (representing the resources that the fleets have available to them after the Crucible fires).

So it can range anywhere from decades (in a low-EMS "destroy" ending) to a matter of weeks (in the synthesis ending).
