What I particularly like about this epilogue is that it's concise about the big picture and still manages to capture the spirit of the endings perfectly. I like the Extended Cut, but it's blatant in its message, while Siduri's epilogue is elegant. I still incorporate parts of it into my after-the-ending scenario. 

Then there are all the nice little touches - Garrus maintaining a residence at Tahiti, Tali writing a Shepard biography titled "Unbroken Resolve", Liara reminiscing about Javik. It all meshes well with the story that came before.

I take it Bioware wasn't more specific about characters' fates because they didn't want to contradict anything we might come up with. However, I don't think there would be many who'd have an issue with Siduri's version.

I really liked these when they came out, but nowadays I prefer fan endings that erase the planet landing. Even BioWare practically admitted it was stupid by showing them leave right after.

Ridiculous how much more satisfying that text and a couple pictures were than what we got. Unfortunately says more about how ME3 played out and those (some) that made it than I'd care to type out.

I just tried it and it was really really bad. Pretty much everyone is out of character. The Control ending is wrongly portrayed. The Geth still are a consensus even if they became true individual consciousnesses. I didn't even read the whole thing because it was so bad.

 

P.S. That was a pretty huge necro. Next time, let old threads rest.

Tried with my canon Shepard. Great work! Some of the characters didn't fit with what I envisioned for them but some ideas were pretty cool and I'll use them for my future playthrough

Eh, necro's aren't always bad. I suspect our guest just didn't realise how old the thread was.

 

Besides, this portrayal of Control doesn't seem that bad to me - though bare in mind that this came out before the EC, so the author really had nothing much to base her interpretation of Control on.

 

Also, I disagree that the Reaper upgrades would stop the Geth from being able to form a Consensus - though that's probably a separate discussion
