Hmm I read about some zombie game that slightly interested me but didn't think much of it at the time. Cannot remember the name to save my life.
There are two zombie games I know of in the works.
Project Zomboid which is basically a game where you try to survive as long as possible by building fortification, weapons and moving from building to building scavenging materials and new locations to hide out.

Dead State is a horror rpg and that's all I really know about it.

Hmm I like the concept behind Project Zombiod and I been aware of Dead State for a year now. Its not either one of those. I think they were pitching it as a open world first person game. My dream zombie game iis a lot like that. What Dead Island should've been.

I've never really been into zombie games, but from what I read of the above ones, they really seem nice. Now, will glitchy or uninteresting graphics', camera and movement be a problem to these games? If so, the experience would easily be ruined.
But having character progression, story (Dead State?), an open world, and many nuances to it really makes it for a great overall idea (imagine that you've survived for long hours, and finally get infected... to roam about the city or to eat your friends... lots of role-play elements

Tortured Hearts looks fine indeed, too bad it's way off the pledged amount :/

Always enjoy reading about it. Also I'm in total agreement with Chris on Firefly.
Little snippet from the interview.
"RPS: In the basically inevitable event that Wasteland raises $2.1 million [Hey, look - I was right!], how will Obsidian fit into the picture? What will you personally be doing? How much of Obsidian will be involved, and in what role? How will revenues be split? What sort of game do you envision it becoming?
Chris Avellone: It’s up to the goals of the project. Brian’s leading the charge on that. I’ll be the one from Obsidian contributing, and as such, most likely in area/narrative design capacity. In addition, we’d be sharing our knowledge of conversation tree mechanics and layouts with InXile to make conversations in the game as good as they can be. We’ve had a lot of victories over the years that we’ve incorporated into our designs, and we’re eager to share them to make Wasteland 2 even better.
Furthermore, if there’s elements of the tools or other functionality that might help with Wasteland, we’d be looking into those aspects and sharing that knowledge as well (Here’s how we structure dialogue systems, here’s how we’ve set up the tools and editors to do X, Y, and Z, here’s some things that aid with script tracking reactivity, etc, etc).
Ultimately, it’s still early and we won’t know the logistics for a short while longer, but we’ll keep folks updated. Right now, we’re definitely on board in a design capacity, which is one of Obsidian’s strengths."

Also, new concept art looks amazing.

Edit: I see I got ninja'd via the other thread.

I will support Dead State as soon as they put it on Kickstarter. I'm still undecided about The Banner Saga. The idea look awesome but there is only a number of games that I can support at a time

A nice thread there!
Though it won't hurt to post (most important) updates here as well as the page sums up all the projects.
Anyhow, glad to see the Kickstarter thing has gotten a real movement. About time that games were made (only) by those who love making them, and with (only) that in mind. This is the ideal possibility for making games out of interest and enthusiasm alone - community-pre-funded projects don't have as much restrictions as "investments as games".

not to play his work down but brian did not work on nwn2. plus his work on alpa protocol's script was reduced to ashes later and obsidian only kept the dialogue system and some of his characters. on bloodlines he did a great job as the lead writer though.

"All this could change next year as soon as one of these adventure games goes over budget, gets delayed, or disappoints its provably passionate base of backers. But for now, Kickstarter appears to be first and foremost the home of the retro renaissance, a place for established developers to convert fan loyalty into cold hard cash, and an avenue for older gamers to get what their younger counterparts have been treated to for years: More of the same."
Also, I added the other games listed there into the OP.
Of which, Republique seems nice, though as I'm not really big on iOS, I'm not going to back it.
Also, titles like Tortured Hearts really do not invoke trust and backing, as is mentioned in the gamespot article.

And we even have a visual novel, leaning on to yuri and a cliche'd plot line! Devil Gene R...
Also there are Chuck's puzzles, cartoony necromancers and space ships designed with Giger in mind (though the resemblance is in idea only). All in today's updates.
EDIT: The Echoes of Eternia RPG! Wow, this game I'm so donating to! (modest in the required sum, but quite great in art-work, concept, and the overall).
Just look at it!
