Boot Hill Heroes
www.kickstarter.com/projects/155773634/boot-hill-heroes-wild-west-retro-rpg-with-1-4-play
16 bit style western theme RPG with a heavy Earthbound influence. Game is actually almost done they just would like funding to help with music and sound development.

Wow. That's a great project. The 50$ tier seems especially nice.

Also, Nekro and Chuck's Challenge are on the edge right now.
CC has some hours, and a few hundred bucks left to go, Nekro has a few days and few k.

I found this video by TotalBiscuit, the cynical brit. Why didn't any of you bring up Ravaged or Yogventures (the latter one's Kickstarter being over already)?
On a sidenote, Starlight Inception (which is also promoted by TB) is running low right now. With one and a half day to go its behind by 40 k.
Better back it up, who's interested of it seeing the light!
EDIT!!
Republique announced PC/MAC version! It's not only tablets, and it has Metal Gear Solid makers on the team!
(also, many others are backed as of this update - The Dead Linger, Leisure Suit Larry, Valdis Story, Echoes of Eternia, Nekro, Chuck's Challenge and Fleetcomm - you should check out their pages for additional info if you have acquired the will and funds to back them - the paypal is an option, and you'll still get the prizes!... on a sidenote, Tortured Hearts and Devil Gene sadly enough didn't make it
. But the Jane Jensen's adventure game finally reached its mark! and there's still 11 days to go.)

Maybe already known: Jennifer Hale (of a certain FemShep fame) is cast for Republique.
She's tweeting it actively: https://twitter.com/...129589829107712
How come this game hasn't reached its goal yet with 4 days to go?

^^ The reason's that they only recently annouced a PC/MAC version - otherwise it was planned for tablets, and there isn't much kickstarter funding for those.
Anyway, I cannot see how a game from such good teams (someone from MGS is on theirs) and ideas could not get the few hundred k. If it won't happen with the 3 days left, it'll prolly do a restart.

I know why some of these aren't getting funded; they fell WAY TOO CLOSE to Wasteland: 2 and Double Fine' Adventure Game. Seriously, these people should at least give it another year or two before starting another one of these big-time Kickstarter projects.

^^ First off, a year or two is certainly too long for the pause. People get money every month. And kickstarter is sort of fun to hold an eye on, if you've got some project backed. It gives a kick out of waiting for this or that goal to be reached. Though it is too tiring for many projects at a time.
Secondly, most of these projects are already running, and they have pre-alfas ready already. So the more they wait, the more of hyopthetical money they lose, by postponing the cash influx.
Third, smaller-scale projects can use the hype that's all about thanks to these "legendary" projects. They wouldn't get that otherwise.
But otherwise, yeah. I would have waited a month or two myself after the Wasteland, Shadowrun and Double Fine kickstarters. It's starting to get a bit too tiresome.

République made it!
$507,053 pledged of $500,000 goal.
6 hours to go.
Though not quite the anti-thesis of kickstarter, Republique is comming close. It already had funding to an extent- they just wanted to use kickstarter to "test the water" before the publisher/whoever ponies up the cash for AAA voice actors and such.
Eventually, the very thing that forced alot of these indie groups to use kickstarter-namely big name publishers, are going to start taking advanantage of this funding scheme and ruining it for everyone. Thats really bad for people forking over several hundred or several thousand dollars thinking they are supporting some indie dev house, only to recieve the game with a big EA/Ubisoft/Activistion/Microsoft/Whatever logo on the front.

If they can find some balance between outside investors and crowd funding, and still deliver solid AAA game without compromising integrity. It's not necessarily a bad thing.
I see your point about big name publishers. This things are inevitable. That's why I look at every kickstarter project as gamble. Devs put their reputation on the line with every project, so if they screw up, no more crowd funding for them.

Added!
I also put Path of Exile on the list - although it's not on Kickstarter per se, it follows the exact framework, and is an awesome game (it's free, with no advantage-giving "pay2win", and with an über-complex skill-tree, and the style of the original Diablos).
For an additional TheCynicalBrit/TotalHalibut view on the game, here's a link (go to 2:24 to see the amazing skill-tree):

Grim Dawn is done and got an amazing $537,000, apparently $90,000 in its last day. It achieved great new stretch goals like a new end game boss, a new town, a new faction and storyline.

Already has been three that I know of. And yeah alot of these games really are worth the insane amounts of money they are asking for *sarc*
I give it another year if that till Kickstarter gets ugly with greed.

There are other sites like this and projects dedicated to music. Those of us who donated to The Libertines, The Rasmus or Amanda F*cking Palmer either got our stuff already or got a date when we'll get it. Can't say the same for these games, but the people who are setting this up seem to be completely honest in their intention to be dedicated to their craft. So unless you've got some evidence to point to the contrary, all the donors are pretty much covered through Amazon for the donations.
