Bioware or anyone.

Can you guys put together a chart or breakdown of how to maximize SP war assets to achieve the "optimal ending" I'm finding it difficult to break 3700+. I can't see any way to get to 5000 in SP alone (without MP or DataApp)   Someone, Anyone Please explain

You cannot. It is impossible without either the Iphone app, MP or New Game+.

The Cake is a Lie. You cannot get to where you're trying to get to without those three approaches.

Hey, I agree with that and in fact had pm'd Thomas Abrams, Bioware Quality Control,  (per his request) about this. I had a near perfect ME1/ME2 import, used Prima strategy guide and also scanned all planets and only got around 3,670ish I think it was.  (Think I messed up on a couple of the spectre authorization quests).  

Anyway, If you have not already, send him a pm letting him know.  His response to me said he got 4,000 and can get to 5,000 EMS with only SP so something is amiss.  Maybe @ some point he will want copies of our save games. Anyway, please, anyone not acheiving 4,000+ assets let him know.

Thanks guys.....sigh soOOO what the heck is bioware talking about? is the New Game+ they are reffering to when they say its can be achieved? or are the telling fibs (joking dont ban me).

What does New Game+ give you that allows you more assests? they dont carry over.

That would make the game a bit short, wouldn't it? So, no, I'm afraid war assets do not carry over into a NG+.

Again, let's all let him know about this. I was soo upset to find you need to MP or use the DataAPP to get 4,000 and above (and neither of those options are viable). Yet Bioware keeps saying you can do it. I have yet to see anyone who has done it w/o a Gibbed Save Editor. Letting Thomas know should help them actually investigate the issue and not be dismissive

I did start a new game and played up to Tuchanka and never saw an increase in EMS from importing my ME3 character (actually saw no benefit at all).

Don't you get more upgrades on your weapons? VI to X?

Yes, you do. Seems to be the only benefit I recall; well your money and inventory carry over as well. But no impact on EMS unless you play through to the end and it shows up then.

The only way I know is to use a save editor. I gave Conrad's dissertation a ton of war assets just for lulz.

Just do what I did and use Gibbed's save game editor to adjust it. Worked for me I went in with 6000+ in SP. Hope this helps.

Yea saved editor is an option, but doesn't that only work for PC and Xbox? Not for PS3 players?

As far as I know you can't get over 4000 EMS in single player, period. That includes new game +. Please, Bioware, respond to this!

Yes, Bioware Pleeeeeasssee repond. A blanket statement saying "its possible" or that there are more than enough to assets in the game are unhelpful. I would really like some specifics on this issue. Hey, I'll even take a flat out "You guys (us gamers) f"d up somewhere and that why you arent getting the assets we (bioware) are getting" but then you have to follow-up by telling me where i messed up.

Boudicia's right. You get the VI to X weapon upgrades. I believe there's also a Glyph intel bonus having to do with fish. But no WA points.

Incidentally, Boudicia, that's a very good EMS score for SP. I've got no idea what that QA guy was playing, but it isn't our version.

lolol my thought exactly!!! they must have the unleaked version or something cause i didnt miss that much maybe 100-200 worth of assest from missed ME1 missions but nothing significant enough to get to 5000 EMS.


Yeah it kinda blows..I dont have an xbox live gold account  to play online so I actially used the free 48 hour pass to get my EMS to like 7000+ (100%).  How am i suppose to get the "optimal" ending now for the extended cut; spend 10 bucks for a month of xbox live? **sigh** so frustrated.  

I like Bioware but im honestly starting to think this "is" some evil track to force folks to MP  which isnt bad at all...its actually pretty fun but i dont like to be forced into doing things.

Actually got an answer. Basically without asset list or save game details he can't tell me what I did wrong but that 4000 is very possible. Not convinced but I could have done something wrong.
