OP I feel the same way as does most of your fellow ME players..... I haven't even really been able to get the willpower to play ME3 for a second time once seeing that ending and all the others that are offered on Youtube.... Unlike ME1 I played at least 4 times and ME2 I was up to my 7th play through once ME3 came out. Now I'm just like...meh...

Once you recover from the sick feeling you'll find it will develop into anger.

Reluctantly, dissatisfied. Feel as though self sabotage. Angrily confused.

try playin it again and actualy think about what you witness at the end..not just emotional but analytical....it may grow on you like a wired fetish..masochism..dunno.

While i was not as emotionaly hit as you i can fell ur pain. It`s just a game, they had 2 good runs now an incredible bad run..we will get over it.

I bought ME3 soon after release, and I haven't played it yet. It happened for the first time in my whole life - I bought the game and I don't want to play it. Seriously. When I know how it's going to end... I just... no, don't want to see it.

I maybe return to ME series after few months, but one thing is certain - if they won't fix endings (by adding "happier" ones) - I'll play ME3 nearly to the end and then I'll turn it off. Throw the ending out of my mind. Just as I threw midichlorians and Alien 3 movie. For me Alien series ends with Cameron's "Aliens". And in ME3 it's going to end in MY way - Shep lives, mass relays are saved and Reapers defeated with standard weaponry plus some space magic from this device. It is totally different from the game, but I don't like what BioWare created, so I create my own ending. Imaginary, but still MUCH better.

F*ck you, screenplay writer.

BTW - did they fix face import bug?

Yeah. Me to. I also feel that way about the ending. One of the reasons anyway. They are going to release a DLC for the ending. Expanding on the ending. We Will see what happens. So, no happy ending anyway i guess. If they don't expand on the secret breathing scene somehow.

That's pretty much it, isn't it? All that time just to find out that they put in a singular, nihilistic ending and your prior actions mean nothing. If they wanted to make that one possible ending, out of several, OK. But to make it the only ending that everyone gets irrespective of what they did in the game, I still cannot figure out what they were thinking.

Franchise came before story, and good writing pratice, plain and simple. Giving three endings that more or less lead to the same thing means litle to no tweaking needed to create a fresh start point set x number of years after the end of ME3. As bad as these endings are they give a nice reset point for any sequal.
