I can after watching the ending. Why care if they die anyways?

I did. Actually, I think I just dodged the question.

No... he sacrificed himself so the Geth would have everlasting life... I mean uh... but with those endings he gave himself for nothing...

"Legion, the answer to your question was yes."

"I know Tali, but thank you. Keelah Se'lai."

I lost it right there. That's how you write the end of a story arc.

I loved the last part of the Rannoch arc (the one where you bought about peace). I hated that Legion had to check out. But it was very well done, as much so as Mordin's sacrifice on Tuchanka.

Of course Legion has a soul. I can't imagine how someone could say otherwise. It would be so cruel.

Same here. Kinda makes you wonder how the hell the ending came to be. So many moving moments, just for the ending to fail to deliver. Words fail me.

It would be indifferent.

Fortunately, the world is a largely indifferent place, whether something is a convenient lie or not.

Well, according to Bioware it doesn't matter, because synthetics must be enslaved, destroyed, or....changed into something that's not synthetic. The cycle, was of course, only in concern to organic life....and their ending clearly stated that they don't consider synthetic life to have any value...or at least not in comparison to organic life.

The way Legion says that always gives me shivers. Took me another playthrough to realize he called himself 'I' rather than 'we.'

God damn, get these onions out of here.

I didn't notice that the first time either, nor how he just called her Tali.

The sentence is in fact loaded with exposition, if you think about it.

"I", no longer refers to itself as "we".
"I know" the Geth no longer doubt. They are alive. They have a soul.
"Tali", no longer refers to Tali as "Creator Zorah"
"Keelah Se'lai" thinks highly enough of Tali and the Quarians to use their blessing as it's final words.

Rejoice! The worthy Geth platform does indeed have a soul. This one is inestimably pleased to share the truth of the most revered Enkindlers with the spiritually seeking Geth platform. The most glorious Enkindlers are open to all sentient life forms. Please accept these pamphlets.

Yep. As I said, took me two playthroughs to realize just how well written that whole scene was. What happened at the ending? Did the writers all get really high and thought it would be funny for Jason from Heavy Rain to control the Reapers?

Easily. But I'd say no to anyone else that asked, too.

YEAH ATHEIST

Speaking of which, it was cool that they had Shepard comment on what it was like being dead for two years.

Basically 95% of ME3 was the collaborative effort of the writing team.
The last 5% was Mac Walters and Casey Hudson planning the rest by themselves.

Of course Legion does. But if you wait a little, you will see a lively debate spring up about whether synthetics are actually alive. During those arguments, someone will say that they lack the randomness of evolution and are built for a purpose, therefore having a lower value of life. And someone else will claim that if their toaster displayed sentience, he would have the right to kill it. Ignore them, and enjoy Legion being awesome.

I killed the Quarians in my renegade path. If they were too stupid to listen and blinded by hate than they deserved their extinction. Not like there was any real repercussions for committing genocide anyway.
