Why is it that asari, the only "human" looking race has 4 fingers and a thumb but all non-"human" looking races default to 2 and a thumb?

How do you shoot a pistol while only holding the grip with 1 finger?

Also, do asari have vagina? Or cloaca?

Ugg, is this a troll post.

If serious, they have navel's, therefore they had an umbilical cord, therefore they had a placenta, therefore they have vagina's.

Not a troll post, I guess I should've clarified. I meant, is it just a birth canal, or closer to a humans?

I cant answer that, they will have a birth canal, it will most likely be very similer to a vagina, however I am not sure if it would be an erogenous zone, science would say no, but I would bet money the writers would say yes.

In LOTSB scene with the "azure" hotell it is heavily implied by Liara that it is an erogonous zone. Also because it is mentioned as a "dirty movie" name.

Asari's boobs get bigger as they age.

This is a proven fact.

Just look at her mother.

Wait, but if Liara's are that big in the Maiden stage...

Probably a burst of growth in her final stage of reaching maturity. Over all put in relation to the human lifespan she is just 16 years old.

Also,at what age are asari considered sexually mature? As in finished to their equivalent to puberty? I know it can't be older than 20, because otherwise I doubt they'd live that long to breed in their natural environment. As in eaten by predators or something.

Most important Asari question of all time...Why is Liara the only one with eyebrows?

oh and

Do you think Shepard is still on a promise with Shiala?

Liara doesn't have eyebrows, they're just facial markings that look like eyebrows. Same with Matriarch Benezia. ^_^

Asari usually leave their parents when they're 60, which means that 60 would be the equivilant to a human 18. That would mean that Liara's age equivilant is probably around 20 to 22. 25 at the most.

Additionally, the boobs were just artistic license, obviously.

As for genitalia, the writers obviously took creative liberties. While science would dictate that Asari would have no need for an erogenous zone similar to a vulva, it is made pretty clear that Azure is the asari equivilant of crude slang for a vagina/vulva.

Given that it is used as the name for a seedy hotel in which pleasure is a central theme, this makes it obvious that the Asari do indeed have erogenous genitalia and probably have a vulva nearly identical to a human's, or incredibly similar. Yes, it doesn't make much sense in terms of science, but neither does being able to control dark energy with your mind. Science Fiction, for you. ;)

Codex says 60 before they're considered "adults" but even then, they're still young.

Please define what you mean by troll? Just because someone says something you don't agree with does not mean they are a troll.

Given that 60 would be the Asari 18, I would guess the age would be around 30 to 40. 40 is mentioned by Samara to be equivilant to around 16 in human terms.

Unlike the Krogan there is never any talk of the kinds of things Asari had to face before they advanced. There was that Asari on Illium though that talks about moving out of her parents house at age 60 so I would place sexual matuarity at 40-50.

I'm pretty sure the youngest asari we've seen has to be that one on Illium talking to her salarian father. She'd have to be under 30, right?

Guys, you are all talking in social terms about what I asked. Being considered an adult and being able to procreate are two different things, stop telling me about when asari leave their parents.

Why is the Asari's system called Athena?

So I think this is because they named the system after their goddess, Athena, who was actually just a Prothean...as you find out on Thessia.

I'm just saying, there was an asari on Illium talking to her salarian father, so she'd have to be under 30. And she looked physically mature enough.

I remember hearing in one of the 3 games, more then likely 2 somewhere as thats the one im playing again atm, that it was said that Asari had hair like humans but lost it when they started to mate with reptilian creatures. This would explain the scaly appearance of their tentacle heads. As I'm going to bed I cant go and look up where this was said but someone will I'm sure.

I believe she speaks of how her father before the salarian was a human. If that's the case the oldest she can be is 28. I might be wrong about her father being human, though.

Just because, they are comparatively young when they leave the nest, doesn't mean, that they are physically mature. Just like smart enough at the age of 10 to leave home and by society accepted as mentally old enough, but still some way to go to complete growth and finish puberty.

In ME1 Laria says that even at 100 she is considered almost a child.

If I had the guess socialy they would not be thought of as full adults until they are around 200.
