Who would you like to see in DA3?

In no particular order, Alistair if alive, Varric, Fenris/Anders if alive, any other party member cameos would be cool.
I don't want to see the Warden again, it's wierd having a character with no name. Very jarring. Hawke maybe...

I'd be too worried about what they'd do to the poor sod this time. In DA2 they hit him with the ugly stick and he made comments about the Warden that were either out of character or suggesting that she was dead (the latter being a flag glitch I think lol.)
... What if they killed him off? Or made him cheat on my Warden? ... It doesn't bare thinking about LOL.

Meeting people for side quests I would love to meet familar faces such as
Orgins: Shale, Wynne, Sten, Morrigan, Alistair, Lelianna. Orghren "haha he diantly needs to be in the party or atleast be part of the fun. dragon age isn't as fun without him.
Awakening: Anders, Velanna "exciled as she must be she still bears the taint of the grey wardens do, she should have a calling",
Dragon age 2: Varric, Isabella, sebastian **some how track down anders and fight** starkhaven army, Bethany Hawke or Carver Hawke as companions *express their feelings about hawke and give an insite*, Fenris maybe* but since you have the option of kiling his master in DA2*
Mostly to return: Bodahn Feddic and Sandals, Flemeth, Bann Teagan Guerrin,

That's my main concern about having romance characters coming back for cameos.

the surname is their to represent the wardens in origins personally it woul;d be awesome to have a warden voice into the game but I don't see the need. there should be some back story that says in conex saying the warden died in the calling just after fighting an old god he acciently mean't in the deep roads. beyond. then having traveled in the deep roads again you find there body and remains with all this equipment for the speciality like rogue, warrior or mage stuff. it would be easy to do since having the body layed out on the ground using customisation with their game programing they could do everyones wardens seening their shattered remainds on the ground.

Aw no, I don't want my Warden to face her calling and die just yet!

The only thing is, with characters like Isabella, who was a companion you could romance, do you bring her back and anger those people who romanced her? Or will importing data be done well enough so that in that case, she either doesn't appear (perhaps someone else does) or mentions something about Hawke?
That's my main concern about having romance characters coming back for cameos.
That's the issue/worry I have with the possibility of previous romancable characters coming back as companions in DA3, I mean the romance flags were glitched enough with just their cameos in DA2, there are so many variables that could go horribly wrong having them return as companions again!

From DA:O/A though - Leliana could fit, and Morrigan is up to something that's for sure... Would like to see them both.
Don't want any of the old companions to return as companions though... Not even sure I want my Warden to make a return. Unless it really makes sense, and it's done Really well. Get the feeling it's way too risky to bring back the Warden though (especially since s/he is dead in a lot of people's playthroughs)... Might cause more problems than it is worth.

If they did come back as romancebale options that would kill anyone's headcannons for the last 2 games and I would be overly irate which I would have a good reason to be. Leave the already romanced companions romanced if they do make an appearance in the next game. They can still be a companion but just not romanceble.
Unless they can get the imports just perfect. Say that you romanced Izy and the end of Varricks story telling has Hawke n Izy staying together then u could make Izy as a nonromaced companion. But say that Hawke went with Merrill instead and Izy is a companion, then u could put Izy as romanceable. But that actually sounds like a pain lol. N the imports would have to be exact. Idk, I just don't want to run into an old companion who is with my previous protag and all of a sudden that protag's being cheated on lol. No ty, talk about a very very bittersweet game. If your going to do that then at least let our protags be there to either object/join or breakup. LOL

Feynriel as a Somniari is such an interesting character, that I'd like to see more of him.
It's mostly a given, but I also want to see "enchantment boy" and my dwarven butler back. Hopefully Sandal keeps returning until we finally get more details on his background or perhaps becomes the first dwarven mage. Boom!

Although, it occurs to me, Shale was in a book was she not? She could be dead or 'cured' or otherwise indisposed in a manner I don't know about. But I really liked her and I wouldn't mind to see her again.

I know! *is nervous*
Please just leave the past companions in the past if they were LIs or killable.
Varric would be nice in DA:3, but in my head cannon, he and Hawke and the companions are
off together somewhere and never parted.

Other than her? GTFO, other peoples.
I kid. The Warden and Alistair for sure, maybe Wynne, just to see if she's still kickin'. I wouldn't mind Shale.
From DA ][...mebbe Varric...mebbe. I WOULD like Anders if he were sane.
And Bethany, of course. Hopefully this time she won't be my sister so I won't feel bad for wanting to...ahem...love her.

I won't highlight a certain name but did u read Asunder, one of those name's will not be around as a companion if the game's proceed after Asunder.EternalAmbiguity wrote...

Sebastian, especially if Anders is alive! Even if people didn't play his DLC he'd want revenge for Elthina.
Morrigan, obviously. She's a great character but I wouldn't mind if she didn't appear in DA3 and appeared in DA4 (if there is one). I think the next game she appears in should conclude her story arc so it shouldn't be a half-arsed job.
And Shale as a squishy dwarf.
