The multiplayer of ME3 is grouped into 3 difficulties across 6 maps. The difficulties are:
-Bronze
-Silver
-Gold

Regardless of which map or enemy, completing a game will yield:
15,000 cR for Bronze
30,000 cR for Silver
75,000 cR for Gold.

There are credit objectives on waves 3, 6, and 10. Wave 11 is the extraction wave. The majority of credits earned in a game are on wave 10.
Ex: Wave 3 on gold: ~10,000 credits. Wave 6: ~18,000 credits. Wave 10 ~45,000 credits.

Items are grouped into 4 classes : Common (blue), Uncommon (Silver), Rare (Gold), and Ultra-Rare (N7 Black).

A standard pack consists of consumables, weapon mods, weapons, and characters.

Once you have a mod or weapon maxed out, it will not appear in your packs again. Characters will.
Ex: My Avenger X is maxed out. No future packs I open will contain Avengers anymore.
Ex: I have a level 20 Asari Adept with all customization options. I can open a pack and get her again, which does nothing for me.

To maximize drops:
1. Buy all recruit packs until all common starter weapons are level X.
2. Buy all veteran packs until the uncommon weapons are level X and you have the majority of the weapon mods at level V. Weapon mods only go up to level V.
3. Begin to buy spectre packs.
Note: This process maximizes your results in the spectre packs. Granted, it takes a while, but it ensures you don't get Avenger upgrades in that 60,000 cR pack.
Note: The only exception is when there are Premium packs on sale. Buy that Premium spectre pack even if you don't have all the lower tier weapons yet. 2 Rares is worth 99,000 cR.

Power combos
These will be your bread and butter on higher difficulties. They're pointless on bronze. You will waste time trying to pull them off, since shooting kills much faster. Combos are when two abilities are used on the same enemy. The enemy must first be exposed to a source power (Singularity), followed by a detonater power (Throw). This will cause a explosion damaging all enemies around it. Explosions depend on the level of the powers. A level 1 source and level 6 detonater will have the same damage as a level 6 source and level 1 detonater. Some powers can serve as either source or detonater (Warp). However, a power cannot detonate itself.
Note: The person who casts the source ability ALWAYS gets the kill.

Now, for the characters.
On most characters, I HIGHLY recommend getting no points in one skill tree. This lets you max all the other trees.

Human Adepts
Human Adepts are mid ranged support characters. Don't count on getting many kills easily with your singularity and warp combo on lower difficulties.  If you're looking for explosions, try the Asari Adept. On the Human Adept, aim for low cooldowns.

Singularity: Radius > Recharge Speed > Expand
Warp: Detonate > Expose > Pierce
Alliance Training: Damage and Capacity > Power Damage > Your Choice
Fitness: Focus on Shields and Health

Human Vanguards
Vanguards are close range combatants who completely destroy groups of weaker enemies. You want a 200% cooldown on them. Max out Biotic Charge and Nova. Your combo should be Biotic Charge to an enemy ---> Nova after slight delay. Biotic charge to next enemy. Always make sure you are preparing to charge to a target after going Nova. Biotic Charge powers your barriers while Nova drains about 99% of them. DO NOT EVER CHARGE BANSHEES UNLESS SHE'S THE LAST ENEMY. SHE WILL GRAB YOU. At level 20, you can safely charge > nova > charge most phantoms though.

Biotic Charge: Radius > Power Synergy > Barrier
Nova: Radius > Power Recharge > Pierce
Alliance Training: Damage and Capacity > Power Damage > Your Choice
Fitness: Focus on Shields and Health

I've recently got tired of getting common items in my Premium Spectre packs so I'm willing to give this a try. Thanks alot for the advice.

I'll buy more veteran packs, I'm really tired of uncommon weapons appearing in my spectre packs.
