The real question here is: why was it okay for EA to use Child's Play to promote DLC in Battlefield Heroes but it wasn't okay for gamers to use a gaming-based charity to bring awareness to a situation within the gaming industry?

This industry is so corrupt, critics and charity bend to EA.

I think that, by and large, the BSN members have handled the dust up over the ending far better than many other communities would have. Some outliers causing problems but I really think both sides have been civil for the most part.

OP has a point...it is pretty stupid how butthurt people get for simply liking the endings. Sometimes this community can get pretty childish but seems in denial of that fact.

You won't find any sympathy from the majority of the community if you're bashing it. Personally, I wholeheartedly agree with you. These people just cannot accept the fact that some like what they don't, it is physically impossible for them to come to such a conclusion. This is how I know that every single one of them is a child, and, in fact, should not even be playing ME3 due to the age rating on the box. It actually makes me wonder how many of them got their parents to buy it for them.

I think we need a mandatory age filter on these forums, to be honest. We'll see how many of the users need underage b&'s then.

From her comments it doesn't really seem like they recorded an alternative ending or follow-up all along. I mean, she'd know if they did. Might as well ask her!

Huuuu... But thats all speculation based on the fact thar Meer and Hale didn't record any line of dialogue for a new ending that will not be done as said multiple time by BioWare and EA.

She hasn't been contacted in regards to any kind of follow-up DLC, period. Who cares about technicalities?

That guy is such a d1ck. I knew he was overblowing on speculation when he said "people were asking for refunds." I hate whiners as much as the next sane guy and I usually side with the corporations over 'the people', but man...

I do think the retake mass effect movement really should have stopped the moment Bioware announced they would do something with the ending.

Continuing to post fresh threads and insults every day comes down to trolling and makes them look like entitled children.

Yeah because using blanket statements isn't childish at all.  Prove that every single one of them is a child.  Typically a child is used in describing an individual that has not hit puberty yet.  I'm guessing that at least one of those people you say is a child is older than that.  Now if you mean everyone single one of them is a child to someone else then you would be correct.  Although that means you are a child too.

The reason we get annoyed with people who are fine with the ending is because being fine with the ending requires you to suspend your faculties of reason and accept something as ok simply because you do not want to see the problems with it. It's impossible not to see them unless you purposefully close your eyes, and what we fear is that Bioware, as a company who already has its head stuck deep into the sand, prefers to listen to whatever other heads it finds in the sand rather than the people who take issue with what they made.
