This is pretty cool. Better than I expected. It's still not optimal; I still have a LOT of issues with how the game winded down, but it's *better*, if not great. And the quality of writing is certainly better than the last ten minutes of the game.

I'm definitely with you on that.  This person took a sh*t sandwich and made it almost palatable (almost).

It still wouldn't return playability to me...I'm (Shepard) either dead OR alive and anything I did for/with the Geth or EDI is rendered into pink slim (then stuck into hamburger patties).  I don't replay just to die.

Which, if any, of the following characters were part of the Normandy's crew at the beginning of the final mission?

it's asking who of your squad members have lived and died

Simple but amazing. Just add some music to it - in epilogues like that music is very important part ^_^

Just play this in the background when you start checking the boxes:

I didn't really want to comment and say "not bad" Because I don't want to give bioware/ea an excuse to simply throw a few written lines at us instead of actually fixing the ending with actual gameplay.

A few written lines isn't good enough. No matter how good those lines are. This isn't a book it's a game. None the less, good work.

OP you need to start your own dev company, this is amazing!

Eh... no, I don't think this would fix things at all for me. I praise the work, but Idon't care for an Epilogue to those "endings".

Simple, yet deeply effective. Would not have taken a lot of time for a team of professionals to do, and would have given us that horrible thing known as closure.

This is the product of people who care about the games.

Unless Bioware does something along these lines...
I don't need this to be official. Until we do get some of that clarifaction, this is well done enough that I like it to answer some of the unanswered.

Damn it, this is so f'ing easy...why Bioware can't do something like that? Biggest RPG dev team for Christ's sake...

Doesn't fix the uncountable plot holes and total lack of rationality. It slaps new paint on a rusted out hulk of a body.

This. Christ, if this is what's 'acceptable' I bet all the DLC will be is a timeline... no thanks.

This is great. An Epilogue. Imagine that.

It just kills me that the ME3 developers didn't think people would want this.

There are still a few problems with it. Since this is a No Spolier section I won't elaborate on a couple more oversights, but really they are inconsequential. For something fan-made it is nice.

Yup.  Sure, the creator of this thing managed to put lipstick on a pig but it IS still a pig.  What it shows is that even the ever-so-slightest effort by a unanimous third party can quickly come up with something better than the loser Bioware spent months working on.

Actually, this absolutely proves that they didn't spend ANY time at all on the ending...none.

Beautifully done. I'd pay 10$ for this if Bioware officially does it. It does not affect their original creative integrity, it does not change the outcome of the ending, but it sure hell makes it a lot better.

Modifying this one's emotions to anticipation slash hope.

Unofficial, but essential.... fantastic, and irrespective of your views on the official ending, something the whole ME community should be grateful for.

Thank you Shannon Phillips, a work so much more useful and gratifying to the reader than another Google doc or youtube vid pointing out inconsistencies.

Very well done. I imagine if something like this had been in the game to begin with we wouldn't have as many issues with the endings.

Apparently, this transcended the abilities of hundreds of developers and an entire team of writers. Good job BioWare!
