Not what I want at all.

Sure it gives closure, but it's still the same idiotic ending.

Doesn't fix the uncountable plot holes and total lack of rationality. It slaps new paint on a rusted out hulk of a body.

And you're now saying that an independent, unofficial effort by a third party should fix all the problems you perceive in Bioware's game?

Its just great...perhaps is better that after playing the game we reed this and assume is the true post-ending until we get our free DLC.

This makes it much easier to deal with the ending (if we ignore the IT), it's a great no-budget fan effort that tries to build off of that absolute wreck, but the wreck shouldn't have been there in the first place and the only way I'd accept an official DLC would be if it dismisses what happened and actually does the ending properly. Slapping on 'clarification' slides won't cut it.

Ah, it's decent except the part where Tali and Garrus end up dead.

Well done, but no, that's not what a lot of us want.

Pretty much this. I never wanted an epilogue sequence like dragon age. That sucked.

Well written piece of work. I hope Bioware takes this into consideration.

Not to mention the endings seem too nice.

I thought the DAO epilogue slides worked (loved them personally), but only because the endings themselves made sense.

Not at all.  I said several things.  One was in response to people who said THIS is what they wanted and that just doing this would have fixed the end.  No it wouldn't have.

I ALSO stated that the fact that an independent third party with short time and effort was able to come up with something better than the actual clowns at Bioware speaks VOLUMES as to the effort they actually put into the game ending (the amount of effort they spent asymptotically approaches ZERO).

This person did a good job with a paint job over a pile of garbage (the actual ending).  Kudos for that.

But this in no way fixes the ending's real problems, just whitewashes them.  THAT is better than the actual thing but it is not the ending that would have suited the game if Bioware had actually given a crap.

Fantastic. Maybe whatever Bioware does to amend the ending can live up to this!

Apparently, this transcended the abilities of hundreds of developers and an entire team of writers. Good job BioWare!

Kinda sad, really. It's by far not a perfect solution, as it doesn't actually change the endings, but this one guy still does a 100% better job at giving the whole mess some kind of closure than what we got in the game.

It adds closure which is great, but it still doesn't fix the stupid ending.

But at least it is something!
This might be what awaits us when the extended cut is available :D

This is brilliant. Amazing it all works in the current confines to salvage as much as possible. We'll see what Bioware does with its "extended cut," hopefully they won't slam the door on what hope we have left by confirming permanent isolation of the Normandy crew and mass starvation in Sol.

I quite enjoyed tinkering with that and seeing all the variables. Variable endings! The mind boggles!

I enjoyed it - thanks a lot! A nice way to show how the variables at play could lead to some different endings - even with the current ending the way it is.

Its heartbreaking that people of this caliber have to come up with free fan-made epilogues while paid "professional" churn out travesties of storytelling.
