I think it's a great idea, I think it was well written, I think it does its best to try and soften the blow of the ending.

But it doesn't cut it. Nothing can change how bad that ending is without actually changing what makes the ending bad.

This is what the ending should be like even with the ABC part

Best part of the site:

"Persistent extranet rumors link Tali'Zorah romantically with fellow Normandy survivor and pop-culture icon Garrus Vakarian, but the two have never publicly confirmed a relationship."

This is what it should be, bioware if you do an Extended cut DLc please this is something that should be part of it. Even with the choices we have this would make up for it greatly. And for the author, this.... this is what Bioware should do for the Extended Cut DLC, I applaud you.

Wow, very well done. And sums up my desires from the ending perfectly. I can accept the ending as it exists now despite some holes and inconsistencies, all I really want is something like this telling me what happened to my crew. As long as they survived my Shepard hasn't died in vain.

Wow, this came out amazing, i'm going back and doing this with the rest of my characters now. If only we had gotten something like this in the first place...

Come on, at least the way the author put it it's less cryptic and senseless than what we had so far. You can't deny that.

This is very well done, kudos to the creator. If the original game would have included something like this, so much angst could have been avoided.

I echo the sentiments of those who said going through this actually helped achieve the closure I've been missing since the game ended. Shame it had to come from some (awesome) fan, rather than an official source.

Whoa, this actually made the Control ending feel much more palatable and I have huge problems with it and Synthesis. Really great work so far.

No problem at all! If anything, we should be thanking you!

EDIT: Oh right! Feedback, feedback...

1) Any plans of adding a "genophage" slide later?

2) I really didn't see my "Ruthless" bakcground have any effect on the endings. Then again, maybe I just missed something there.

3) Any plans of adding "origin" (colonist, spacer, earthborn) slides or refferences later?

I enjoyed this fan-creation. Remarkably, it made me feel a little less discontent over the vapidity of the ending.

Cool another thread with this. Hope it spreads around like wildfire XD

In addition to my post in the original thread:

It would be awesome to see the reconstruction efforts on the other planets as well: Turchanka, Thessia, Palaven, Sur Kesh, Rannoch, ect

Well, I kind of felt like the game itself did a pretty good job showing you the outcome of your choices in that particular plot thread, and left you with a pretty good idea of whether the krogans (depending on their leadership) were likely to be "good galactic citizens" in the future. So I tried to focus on the things that were really left hanging, like the fates of your crew.

2) I really didn't see my "Ruthless" bakcground have any effect on the endings. Then again, maybe I just missed something there.

It's really only mentioned in passing. If someone -- I'm trying to avoid spoilers here -- if someone has a reason to give a speech summarizing your achievements, then it's one of the things they'll mention.

3) Any plans of adding "origin" (colonist, spacer, earthborn) slides or refferences later?

You're not the first person to suggest that, so, yes, it's definitely something I'd keep in mind in a 2.0 iteration of the slides.

Right now, though, I'm kinda thinking that this is something that will work to "tide us over" until Bioware releases their official ending DLC. So I'm not actively working on updates to the epilogue generator right now. If there's still a lot of interest in the community after the official ending DLC comes out, then I would do a second version and incorporate all the suggestions that people have offered.

Those made me feel much better about the ending. They aren't perfect, but yeah, like an hour or two of writing with plain text and pictures provides a hundred times more catharsis than the actual ending that a multi-million dollar company produced.

Absolutely fantastic. Only squad death was Javik. 6000+ EMS, destroy, Talimance = epic win.

Given how there is no retcon post ending DLC coming. A bittersweet and happy epilogue is better than none. While I didn't get what I wanted when it comes to priority wise... this is the only way BioWare can actually make me at least deal with having to go through that mess of an ending without fear of literally just quit the game as soon as the star child shows up.
