Yeah, this would basically make me forget about all of the plot inconsistencies. I liked where the endings were going, but they never really got there. Having things narrated so that my choices got laid down in a canonical fashion would be nice. That being said, I imagine the Normandy crashing had something to do with where the series is going post-Shepard, so I doubt there'll be a great "23 years later!" sort of text-bubble fix to them being stranded.

It doesn't fix the core WTF issues with the ending, but that also wasn't the author's intent. Launching from what she was given by the developers, this goes a long way to restoring the emotional weight that is so painfully, achingly missing from the original endings. I felt bewildered and betrayed at the end of ME3. I felt more true emotional response to the story reading these simple epilogue clips. Very nicely done.

I don't understand why they couldn't even go the Fallout/Dragon Age route, and give even a text box to wrap things up. It's not that hard, I don't care about inconsistencies in a plot that I don't care about that was introduced in the last 10 minutes. I care about the rest of the games and the implications.

Now that I think about it I might actually be able to get through a third playthrough and experimental playthroughs by just using this as soon as the credits roll. I won't be seething with utter disbelief and disappointment.

I'd totally get behind this sort of thing if BIoware goes with this route.

Thanks for the link, that was brilliant.

And very annoying that this was all BW had to do, yet didn't.

A lot of people saw this coming after Dragon Age 2, there has been a continous degradation of all Bioware standards for a while now.

If BioWare had hired whoever wrote this, the ending would not need any DLC to clarify or something.

This is bloody brilliant,Not even that, INCREDIBLE!

But the only down-side is that we know that bioware will just slap us in the face with a load of crap...

And for the record, Not only would I read tali's book, I would also buy a memorial plate

Oh, And I would also get garrus's book and watch his show on the tellie :D

My God. How is it that normal people can do stuff better than professional writers?

Cause normal people don't have budgets, time contraints, other agencies, investers, other business and executives to answer too?  This is also why people think fanfiction is better than what we get on TV or Movies...

(That's not to say that the folks who create stuff don't get it wrong, just the fan creations have more latitude then they do).

Meh, a simple epilogue slide would be much better then Casey's 'speculation'. No time contrainer here. Just bad decisions me thinks.

So you're saying having a budget is a bad thing now?
