Kudos to the creator, and thanks for sharing OP.
This is exactly what a lot of us wanted I think. If something like this comes out in the extended cut (although I have STRONG doubt's about that) I can die happy. Still, I fear that in the end, all of those fan made closure attempts, will be more worth than the extended cut.
P.S.: Also, shame on you BioWare, this is how easy it was, don't tell me you weren't able to pull that off. Yeah right

If the extended ending DLC confirms some of the worse-case scenarios postulated by fans regarding the fleet in Sol, the relays, Shep and crew (Forever Alone, no rescue, Team Dextro starves, inbred multigenerational colony, etc.) I'll forgo the (optional) extended ending DLC and this will be my canon.ParagonGreg wrote...
As far as I'm concerned, this is canon.
It's almost cathartic. I was actually able to finish the ME1 playthrough I'd put on hold before this whole fiasco started after reading this, and I found I enjoyed it again. Before, I could go for about twenty minutes before I would just stop.
They aren't going to rewrite the endings. They aren't going to excise the Star Child, etc. but if they give us an ending worth earning, such as those described here, that will be enough for me.
Call me a convert. I didn't think it could be done, but this has shown me that Clarification & Closure DLC may just yet salvage ME3's replay value.

I think that's what many people are going to do and/or think, being completely honest.

Read through three epilogues one for each ending choise, and unsurpricingly, the "green" ending's epilogue was the least impressive of the three. When you are given space magic to work with.... it's just inordinately hard to make it a satisfying scifi epilogue.
I think had bioware done something like this to begin with, the ending controversy would have been much lessened. Though the fundamental storyline problems with the space-kid and the magical beam that turns everybody into cyborgs would still have raised eyebrows.

Ah well. Bookmarking and using as canon until the extended cut at least. I might even be able to force myself to finish another playthrough now

Though I think this epilogue puts a tad too much emphasis on dextro-amino food. It was said quarian flotilla has garden's so I don't quite believe acquiring dextro food is the main priority of everyone.

If you exterminated the Quarians (you monster) or their "glass-cannon" liveships didn't survive the battle, any Dextros left in the Sol system are going to be in trouble. This assumes there aren't some sort of "food vats" on Earth we weren't told about used to mass-produce whatever the various species need to eat...kalle90 wrote...
This rejects Bioware's reality. Now, if only it had more; stuff based on Krogan, other former squadmates, minor characters... But that should be Bioware's job.

It is absolutely something that needs to be addressed, both for the fleet in Sol and for Team Dextro on Zorya, or whatever planet they wound up on. Inevitable starvation is not an acceptable outcome.

EDIT: Still under construction, btw.
EDIT 2: I DID NOT DO THIS. You want to contact the author check the link on the bottom of that page.
Epic post is epic. Christ this reflects poorly on Bioware....

I'm just saying that if this was official I wouldn't like 10% of the epilogue blabbing about food. It's important but has never been a point in the games.
Of course in the official version there would have to be slides talking about krogan, rachni and other races, the amount of assets left, ME2 squadmates etc. so it would probably lessen the percentage of food talk.
EDIT: Oh and the kid talk again. So I can't have a romance without having babies? That's just full of it.
